Dr tan is great but VIVACARE is the worst medical clinic in the country and should be shut down! They never answer their phone, gone for lunch at all hours of the day, the answering machine says they are closed when they are suppose to be open etc!

I had a surgery done by doctor Tan on my left knee , it was a miniscus tear , Zachary tan is very very professional and friendly doctor , I’m still waiting for my knee to heal but during the surgery was everything good , thank you doctor Tan for doing that surgery to me , about the reciptionist it’s hard to reach them but better to come in person and figure it out , there are helpful anyway , thank you again. My first referral to Dr Tan was in the beginning of March.......I spoke with him once on phone appointment........He said he would get his office to set up an appointment and I have spent the last six months trying to reach someone in his office for an appointment. They had me phoning and phoning because they are not taking messages at all electronically yet they are closed for lunch close early and not open on certain days....so that you have to keep phoning and phoning and disconnected......... This is the worst communication system for a professional office I have had to deal with in my life. If Dr Tan is serious in being viewed as a highly skilled and professional man he needs to deal with this situation immediately.........my last appointment was cancelled by him after all this wait and I am so frustrated and upset with this lack of respect for a patient. The opening message you get on reaching the number for his office is delivered at breakneck speed so that I had to phone in three times to get all the choices at the end of which, no one was there to talk to. This has occurred repeatedly over the months it has taken to get an appointment only then to get it cancelled at the last minute..

This doctor has literally given me pain relief that I have struggled with for 4 years in one injection. He was kind and understanding and I could tell genuinely cared and listened. He recognized something in my X-ray that two er doctors and my family doctor missed in 5 minutes and referred me for surgery I stanly. This has been the best care I have received in the lower mainland since I moved back in 2016. Anyone needing a caring doctor who believes in you pain please trust this man. I walked for an hour straight after seeing him as I have been laid up for the past 6 weeks. Thank you Dr Tan for your treatment today. You are a very special doctor and a rare breed.
