I absolutely love the day shift! They are so loving and welcoming!! Always make my family feel like my grandpa is being well taken care of! But the night shift is not very nice! They make me feel very sad about leaving my grandpa there! I feel like he is completely neglected! I wish I had the ability to take care of him at my own home. Because of the things my grandpa shares with me from the night shift is very concerning.

Day shift is great. Night shift is a nightmare.

We called for guidance with placing my father in law in this facility. After leaving 2 voicemail messages with no return call, we asked to speak to a supervisor. We were told by the supervisor that the employee that we left messages for has only been working there for ONE MONTH and has not accessed her voicemail yet! Why have voicemail if it is not used? How long does it take to set up voicemail? Obviously more than one month. That certainly shows a lack of concern and follow up. Stay clear of this facility.

Our mom was in and out over a period of a year..finally full time resident. Ruthie as they called, her was so well taken care of. Even the kitchen staff was attentive. Every place will have great, good and bad people. My mom was left by an attendant in the bathroom by herself..she could have fallen. I complained and she was gone the next day. Her nurses were awesome. It's not the newest place, not the fanciest. But it is the quality of care that counts and our mom received top-notch care.

Very unfriendly administration, approaching confrontational. There is a feeling that they screen customers to meet a particular set of criteria, verging on profiling.

This is more of a nursing home than rehab center, I don't recommend this place unless it's your only option.

Based on.my experience I would avoid this place at all costs. Mother in law was checked in and died the same day. Pretty sad day. Got yelled at by the nurse there when we called to find out what happened. Unreal experience. FtP.

Perhaps this facility was good at one time, but it should not be caring for people until: a) staff learn to recognize signs of distress, stroke and appropriate care of all patients. b)new windows and insulation are installed. Doors to hallway must be left open so the rooms can draw in heat. c)replace mattresses and bedding. They are very old. d)Brighten up the walls; all painted dull brown with little or old decoration e)boost up morale of staff. This may relieve some of the staff shortage being experienced.

I am very impressed with this nursing home. My mom Yvette is treated with respect and love. They treat her like family and I am very grateful. They hold her hand, give her hugs and talk to her. The staff keep me informed. I am so happy to have found this place for her. Much appreciation to the dedicated staff.

My mother was discharged from U of M hospital to this awful facility. She might have been there for 6hrs before she was found unresponsive died. She was only 62 & this came as a shock. When I called to find out what happened a nurse named Joanne Mango answered the phone. She was so incredibly rude to me words cannot describe how this made me feel having literally just found out that my mother had passed. She told me to stop yelling. I wasn't yelling. She told me in a condescending & snotty tone that they had tried to call me several times to notify me. This is untrue, I had no calls from the facility in my call log. I found out that my mother had died from my sister not the facility. When I talked to the director of the facility, Bridget Brown, she basically said nothing and just listened to me rant about how unkind her staff was. She said that nurse Mango would be spoken to but she had nothing to say as far as what happened the night my mother died. I'm guessing to cover her tail its best not to add anything to the conversation. Something happened at that facility the night my mother died and I'll likely never find out because I can't afford an attorney to investigate the place. I urge you to NOT choose this facility for your loved ones if you'd like them to recover & live.
