Dr. Sorser is absolutely the best. He is so knowledgeable and always up to date on the latest information. He is kind, compassionate, and thorough. I am so grateful to have him on my care team.
Dr Sorser has been treating a complicated condition for us and is thorough, kind, and compassionate. He follows up with other doctors, has called to report testing results, and takes time to answer all questions in our appointments. His office staff is efficient and friendly. Our wait time is very reasonable.
I’ve seen Dr. Sorser 2x. Once for an endoscopy and once for a colonoscopy. He is kind, gentle and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.
Being very scared, nervous, and many bad issues he talked to me and assured me to have a upper and lower GI. He greeted me before the testing and after. He also made a direct call after biopsy reports were received. Being afraid for nine years since I had same testing, he was by far very knowledgeable, trusting, and respectful.
Great bedside manner, but completely disorganized. Met with him and discussed a colonoscopy appointment. Informed the doctor that the appointment had to be out 6 weeks since I was getting my pacemaker replaced, no issue, appointment was made for late June. I go through the colonoscopy prep and showed up at 6:30 AM at Providence Park and was told that my appointment was cancelled since I had a pacemaker. Doctor left a voice mail after I left the office and he said I should have told him. DUH!
Very unprofessional, the way he spoke about the issue at hand disregarded my concerns and my health. He was also heavily influenced by outside factors which as a healthcare professional is very negligent. Once I finally transferred to another doctor, they had requested (twice) my medical files from Dr. Sorser's office. It then took two weeks and a few forceful conversations with different employees to get my files transferred. I do not recommend providence for any gastro related issues.
Dr. Sorser is the absolute BEST in his field! He is professional, kind, and super knowledgeable.. I came to him last year when I started getting sudden, unexplainable stomach issues (blood, mucus, diarrhea, cramps). After my first appointment, he ordered blood work and a colonoscopy. Upon reviewing the results, he discovered that I have proctitis in the lower colon and began treatment immediately with oral medications. My symptoms have improved tremendously! He follows up and truly cares.
I had upper endoscopy performed by Dr. Sorser. He was very caring, knowledgeable, and professional.
Dr. Sorser takes time to listen to his patients and to explore all treatment options. I'm very happy to have found him; he's one of the best doctors I've ever had. I highly recommend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
