List of Fernando G. Diaz's Reviews
Dr Diaz did neck surgery on me . I was very scared crying. I was assured I would be ok after an auto accident. He is a wonderful doctor. Now for my back. Nervous because of being operated on but I know I am in the best hands. Seen other people who got operations on there necks and now tgey can’t hardy turn there heads. I am very grateful for Dr. Diaz and his experience. Thank you very much doesn’t seem like enough
He is rude, condesending, and NOT trustworthy. If you value your life go elsewhere. He claimed to have performed my brain surgery when it was really a resident.
If you need an honest doctor go to someone else.
Ask him what "molten fat" is that oozes out of your spinal surgery before the incision is healed.
This Dr jacked up my back so bad. I've never been normal since. Shame on Beaumont health for employing him. And putting him as "professor" of their medical students. What a joke he is
This Dr point blank lied about what he was doing in my surgery. He left me maimed for life
I went to him for a second opinion after a very reputable spinal surgeon discovered an injury after a car accident during the global pandemic this year (2020). He reviewed the MRI's that I gave him and claimed NOT to see the same injury as the first doctor and told me to "continue with physical therapy and to lose weight." By the way, the weight gain was/ is due to quarantine and not being able to exercise due to the injuries sustained from the car accident. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED in him on all levels. Thank God I trust the original doctor who sent me to him in the first place.
Had neck surgery and the most part I am pain free. Excellent neurosurgeon and highly recommend. I need to lose wait for back surgery. I am sure that the wait loss would speed up my recovery for back surgery.
Hacked up by spine. Was in a scooter after his "fix"
He operated on my spine in 2012 and made it worse.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
