Dr. Kolachalam and his staff were very helpful in handling all the details regarding my surgery. The procedure was professionally done, and well explained to my wife and me promptly afterwards. My recovery has been without any complications. I definitely recommend Dr. Kolachalam for abdominal surgery.

I went to Dr. Kolachalam for a second opinion because the first surgeon did not want to do the surgery, he told me to lose weight and my hernia would be ok, it was not ok and getting very painful. Dr K was very nice and answered all of my questions before and after the surgery, and I`am glad that I chose him. I would highly recommend him.

My mom needed surgery to remove her adrenal gland to help lower her high blood pressure but she had been avoiding it for the last 7 yrs. Unlike other surgeons, Dr. Kolachalam was actually able to ease her worries about the surgery which lead to her finally getting it done! The surgery was seamless and she had very little pain afterwards. Highly recommend this doctor!

Dr. Kolachalam was very thorough. He explained my condition, the procedure, what to expect afterward, and what recovery would be like. He was accessible after surgery to answer my question. He and his office staff are very supportive, kind, and understanding.

Horrible beside manner. No follow up care after surgery. He even refused to consult with other specialist to help with diagnosis.

Dr. Kolachalam did a wonderful job on my recent surgery. His office was able to get me scheduled for a surgery within a short period of time and he and his team did an amazing job. My wound is healing nicely and no complications. I had no issues with my recent follow up with him.

Dr.Kolachalam performed my surgery about 7 months ago. During my post surgery follow up, there was no exam. I told him there seemed to be hardening in my incision area. He said that it should go away in a few weeks. He just thanked me for coming into the office and asked me to leave a review. At that time, I thought my experience was good. A few months later, I had a visit with my gyno and she immediately noticed the mass and told me that was concerning and to follow up with Dr. Kolachalam and have another Ultrasound. I did just that. During my appointment with Dr. Kolachalam, he stated that the mass was definitely not normal and indicated that there could have been internal bleeding. I took another ultrasound and was told that he'd follow up in two weeks. Well, after three weeks of not hearing anything, I called his office. He told me that he now needed to order a Thyroid Scan and that his office would contact me the next day with the appointment time. Well, I never received a call. After weeks of waiting, I called and was told that Providence is extremely backed up with doing any scans and as soon as they could get an appointment they would call. Never received that call. I have been calling the office for over two months and they always take my phone number and say that Dr. Kolachalam will call me back. Never received a call. I called again on Tuesday and was told that they'd scheduled a call for Dr. Kolachalam to call me on Thursday at 4:15. Never received a call. I called the office at 4:29 and was told that he'd left the office around 2 PM and that he'd call me on Friday. Didn't receive a call. I have never experienced such negligence and unprofessionalism as I have with this doctor. I have encountered sleepless nights because I don't know what's going on or whether the mass is malignant or other issues exist. I don't want anyone to ever encounter my experience with this doctor.

you are better off going to a veteranarian for your healthcare. this guy is a joke. so condescending, and humiliating. Told me did i really want surgery because "whats the point? how long will you live, you arent even married"
