FYI: I had a fluttering sound in my ear that had the effect of ‘fingernails on a chalkboard’, i.e. I felt ready for a padded cell. Also, it impacted my hearing, which definitely had an effect on my work as a professional musician. I am SO grateful to Dr Standring for fixing this. Every day I appreciate him more!

Seen another Dr in the office the hearing ladies said my hearing wasn't good and this Dr came in and said my hearing was great and I was there because of a snap crackle pop in my ear my regular Dr said I needed sinus surgery because no medicine is working and I have polyps in my nose and a deviated septum but oh well the Dr was in a rush to leave

I was a new patient in the office for at least a half hour. Had a hearing test, the results explained to me. Saw the doctor he went over my results again answered all my questions. I loved his enthusiasm. It was a wonderful experience.

I ruptured my eardrum at work about a month ago and saw Dr. Standring. He is super friendly and knowledgeable and makes sure all your questions are answered and you feel comfortable before leaving the office. His office staff and the nurses are also all friendly and all around great. If you're looking for and ENT I strongly recommend calling Dr. Standring's office.

Alright. I was seeing him as a second opinion and because I had seen good reviews. I would say things were OK but noticed he appeared to become a bit snippy when I queried whether or not I had been still enough for a recent MRI of my ears we were looking at. All I can figure is that he thought I was **questioning the quality of the MRI - which was not the case at all. So, he basically just gave me some prescriptions and sent me on my way. Don't intend to return but am glad he has helped others. It seems that ear Dr.s sometimes assume folks want to deny having hearing problems (which does probably happen a bit) but that's not the case for everyone. I am also appreciative that they have forwarded copies of my hearing results to me. Btw: the audiologist at their Madison Heights office is awesome. :)
