Depending on the complexity of your medical condition, you’ll leave your appointment feeling confused and dis-regarded. If you have a chronic health condition, even one that requires low-maintenance and/or monitoring, this is more than likely NOT the doctor or facility, for you! In addition, she talks at you, instead of to you, leaving the rest of the staff to pick up the pieces and ultimately feel as if they can do the same. She also comes across abrasive, egoistical, insulting, condescending and rude; all with a smile, a hint of sarcasm, a low voice and an even-temperament. You’ll be left feeling as if they want you to beg for help or kiss someone’s behind, which will still get you nowhere! The facility changes doctor’s frequently. If your health is important to you and you’re not just pretending, which many are not, don’t waste your time!

Oak Street Health is cool but Doc. Royster decided I should no longer take my sleep med or I would have to go outside the clinic and see a professional psychiatrist. A shrink for Ambien? Seriously? They knew I was talking that when she took me as a patient. I needed said medication and no one cared the other mental health professional recommended she write that script. She ignored that for a week until I showed up today and called bet out on it. Don't lie to me when two others said you had it last week..not for me or you if you take medications. She will have a plan that doesn't include you're meds.

Based upon having an ear infection for 10 days and my regular physician being unavailable I went to see Dr Royster. After waiting in the examination room for nearly an hour she came in and did a brief exam. Said she didn’t know what she could do and advised me to go to an emergency room to see a physician there. Needless to say several hundred dollars and a vast amount of time were wasted on her ability to treat or not treat an ear infection.
