Havens Orthodontics's Online Review Report Card

I can't say enough good things with Havens. So I'll say this. Good people that are good at what they do and they will not disappoint. Highly recommend these professionals when it comes to fixing your "smile."

I was referred to Havens Orthodontics by my dentist a few months ago to discuss getting adult braces. Ive contemplated braces actually for some years, but now being able to fully afford paying out of pocket, I was able to move forward with a treatment plan for braces. I've been going to Havens Orthodontics now since May/2023. And every experience I've had so far has been very pleasant and professional. My first appointment, which was the consultation appointment was free. I was able to talk about different options for braces, the timeframe I was expected to wear braces, cost, and payment plans. So, so far so good of an experience! The staff seem to be very nice, the office is clean, and I'm usually in and out for my follow up appointments. I will say that the only gripe if I were to really have one, is that I would prefer more privacy. I wasn't aware going into the process that the Havens office is like an open concept office. All of us patients are out in an open space to receive dental work. There isn't an enclosed patient room. It's not the worst experience, but can be kind of awkward if you're a very private person. But overall, I'm used to it now. And maybe it's just set up like this at the St. Clair Shores office where I go. I can't speak to the set-up at the other locations. I will update my review once I'm completed with the overall process of my braces journey

Super friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable prices and a great billing department that works with what you need

My wife has braces and has been going to this establishment since 2020. Let's just say that she's a faithful fool ‍. There have been communication issues since the beginning...but here lately it's just gotten out of hand with the lack of professionalism and consistency of proper treatment. Techs gossiping about other coworkers to the point that my wife's stoppers weren't placed on her wires because the conversation was more important. The only reason I am leaving a review this time is because I'm fed up with my wife waking up in pain because of another negligent visit to the orthodontist! Here we are, walking into the holiday and she can't even chew her food without the end wires scraping the inside of her jaw! She doesn't know when she'll be out of her braces, where there may be problems, and haven't seen the owner, David (who was initially the one working on her) in a year! I wish she would just leave these people but she doesn't want to have to start a new journey with another business ‍. Not sure if another company would even accept her at this point.

Cannot recommend this place enough. The doctor, front desk and the techs are all amazing, fun and very personable. And most of all they have done great work.

Best place ever! Kind, trustworthy & great dentist & staff! Well worth the time & mone. I don't think I'd trust another orthodontist with my son. There understanding about payment plans. Great place! Recommend to EVERYONE!!

I just received traditional braces from Dr. Havens and his team of professionals. They were very respectful, courteous and professional. I also appreciate how they are flexible with the payments. My experience with Dr. Havens and his team was amazing. I walked in his office April 2015 embarrassed about my teeth fast forward November 2018. I’m nothing but smiles and always will be I LOVE LOVE LOVE my smile. They’re easy to talk too and they will definitely work with you in any situation. Trust me I know!! Other then that, I would recommend anyone to the team.

Dr. Essayan, the orthodontist is a very nice and very professional kind, caring, and excellent experienced orthodontist.His office staff is very nice very easy to schedule appointments. I recommend them very highly.
