Jeffrey S Weingarten's Online Review Report Card

While my results of my appointment was good, the Doctor explained the issue I was having well and took his time in answering all my questions. I was bothered by one issue at the end of the appointment. I was checking out to leave and while I was standing there getting my f/u appointment an older white couple walked up. The guy talked over me (as though I was NOT already standing there) to ask if "they" were all set. Not to make it about race, but this happens to black people often. At first I was just annoyed by the guy but when the girl behind the desk stopped helping me, asked for his last name and begun to flip through her stack of checkout papers, I quickly found myself annoyed with her. To make it worse she begun talking to another staff member about the couple, while I stood there NOW waiting instead of being helped. Never once did she say "one second sir let me finish with this lady FIRST". While I don't think there was any ill intent on her part, she has to do better at recognizing impatience, disrespect, audacity and assumed privilege. I have another appointment scheduled and I plan to have this very conversation with her (only) as I could not in my annoyance. Not trying to get her in any trouble, just want to educate her. UPDATE: the office reached out to me direct and apologized for the first experience I had and I appreciated it immensely. Since then I have been back several times and it has been a pleasant experience each time. My condition is primarily resolved, the Dr. and staff are professional, thorough and proficient. I would recommend their practice to anyone having ENT issues/concerns.

As a walk in one day, I was reading royalty by Nanette. She not only cleaned my hearing aids, including adding filters and tubes, but acquired an appointment with Dr. Weingartner the very next day plus a visit to the audiologist for a repeat hearing test and adjustments to my current hearing aids.

Very clean. Staff friendly. Dr. Weingarten seemed very knowledgeable. Would recommend.

Though I can’t attest for the long wait-time, I can agree that Dr. Weingarten has a terrible bedside manner, uses his experience as a marker that your concerns are invalid and rushes in & out of appointments with no time for follow-up questions or for you to even think. I would not recommend.

Great doctor. I just started going to him this year and every time he was straight to the point. I went to him for my sinuses and allergies and I feel way better night and day. I recommend him to anyone

My Mom's hearing was getting worse, the technician was wonderful, thank you!

I drove nearly an hour to have my daughter evaluated by Dr.Weingarten. He was very rude, dismissive, and misdiagnosed my daughter's cystic thyroid for a VEIN! I'm happy I was able to get a second opinion from someone who actually cares for black patients. I would like to know why he thought it was ok to examine her less than 5 minutes, then bum rush us to get to the next patient. He left me no time to ask any questions. People of color, beware.
