List of Paula Schreck's Reviews
My son’s pediatrician(same office) retired and I instantly knew who we would pick. When he was an infant and a few time over the years she’s seen him and given me amazing breastfeeding tips. She’s a great health care provider!
Smart and amazing Doctor and Lactation specialist. ❤️
I went to Dr. Schreck to seek assistance with my newborns latch. He had been evaluated by an ENT for a tongue tie and they had deemed it not necessary to cut. When I mentioned this, Dr. Schreck became very defensive and insisted repeatedly that cutting his tongue tie is the only I’d be able to breasfeed. When I asked about the evidence to support this she told me it was weak. She didn’t take my history, watch him latch (he did successfully in this appt) or listen to what the lactation consultant said. I have never felt so unheard or unsupported in a doctors visit. Dr. Schreck lactation consultant was amazing as was the rest of the staff in the breastfeeding clinic but I’d recommend everyone stay far far away from her.
Very nice and understanding staff. Came in with issues nursing and questions. They helped me to figure out what was going on and offered several solutions. Had my child and I come back in a week to check on our progress to make sure we were on the right track. I went from wanting to give up to loving nursing. Would 100% recommend them if your having issues nursing. So glad we came here!
My Doctor, not sure how to put it in words but put me down heavily because I said no to the vaccine I’m 18 years old and in good health, I personally don’t believe in the vaccine but she made it very clear that we didn’t see eye to eye on it, it was more than just that but I left crying and will now be seeing a new doctor. Overall an appalling experience.
This is my second child that’s a patient with this group of doctors this dr specifically is my favorite. My kids like her first and second she talks to them instead of talking to the parents about the kids. Highly recommend
I drove myself crazy watching all these YouTube video of moms pumping all this milk and it was really upsetting and stressing me out thinking I wasn't producing enough for my son. So I was very please with the help I got from Dr. Schreck and her team during my lactation session. Knowing I was producing enough milk for my son really helped me relax more.... my advice to new mothers DONT watch YouTube or Google things. Please talk with your child's peds and they will be happy to refer you to a lactation consultant. Thank you for your help and putting my mind at ease.
Very rude and pushy... Does not give you straight forward information. I feel she admits newborns to the special care unit unnecessarily, which results in a lot of heartache and torture for baby and mother without giving them any other options. I did not appreciate her bedside manner and felt she was very unprofessional.
This doctor is uninformed, unprofessional, unethical, and disrespectful. She left unwarranted comments on my 17-month-old's immunization records that I needed for his school, and the comments were false, negative, and racist. No comments from her were even necessary for the form; all I needed was a list of the vaccinations I had allowed my baby to get from this doctors' office before deciding to opt out of vaccinations at his 15-month visit, which is within my rights as a parent. She spitefully tried to tarnish my son's medical and school records with these awful comments she wrote, and she also insulted me, my family, and the area we live in. Do not trust her; she has no integrity and is not informed about what is in vaccines or how they affect all members of the community (when asked about vaccine injury and black boys, she cited some research that had been done in places like Sweden and Norway, where there is not a significant number of black citizens to be researched in the first place...she thought we were stupid, and this is just one of the weak arguments she made that showed this). She is only concerned about how our refusal to get further vaccinations will affect her bank account and showed she is willing to do harm to a baby to get her way. Avoid this office.
We just moved to the East side and wanted to find a ped. closer to our new home. We read some nice reviews and I liked that she was very pro-active about breast feeding. I scheduled my 2 girls for their physical and to update their vaccines without meeting her ever even for a sick visit and now I wish I had. She came into the room and we were anticipating a friendly new doctor, instead she was notably angry, cold, and indifferent to my children. We were immediately uncomfortable, I tried to lighten the mood by keeping a smile, being playful, and friendly in spite of her, but this only seemed to annoy her. I don't know if she was just having a bad day perhaps but after awhile it started to feel personal. After we started to discuss updating their vaccines she insinuated that she was not a fan of delaying vaccines, fair enough but I WAS there to update their vaccines for one, and if she had a problem with me and my choices she sure didn't need to take it out on my little girls. We won't be trying for a second chance, my girls hope to never see her again. I don't blame them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
