Professional and knowledgeable vusit
I had a back Fusion back in 2019. Dr. Saqqa was my surgeon my surgery was a success. I'm Ble too walk again. Thanks again Dr. Saqqa
In 2012 I had back surgery with Dr. Saqqa when he was newer to practice. He was part of the team at Ortho Michigan in Lapeer. His manners, respect, kindness, and knowledge were all amazing! Now 2021, I can not thank this man enough for giving me my life back! Please Dr.Saqqa know, I'm am forever grateful for you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
It took 2 months of my life to get in to see Dr.Saqqa. When I left the office in Shelby Township the Dr. Saqqa and the front desk told me I would receive a call when I would be able to get the shot. They did not tell me it would take another week and a half to receive the call. When I finally spoke with Jamie who schedules the appointments, she was a disaster of unprofessionalism and courtesy. She informed me it would take another month (again of my life in pain) to get the cortisone shot. Also if you go to the Shelby office you can only get the shot at their St Clair shores office. Do not go to this doctor, the Associated Orthopedists of Detroit. Jamie stated she makes appointments for nine doctors and she is short staffed. Unbelievable options of timing are only 1 hour on a Friday in the afternoon and 1 hour in mornings for Dr. Saqqa as they have to share the surgery room with nine doctors. Associated Orthopedists of Detroit are too big and are incapable of caring for their patients who are in pain.
I needed a surgeon to help with a spinal cord stimulator. The rep spoke with Dr.Saqqa about my situation. He agreed to help me and fit me in for a consultation and then scheduled surgery asap. He is thorough, compassionate and takes his time. I drive 1.5 hours to see him. I trust him and that is difficult for me to trust a doctor. He is helping me with other issues with my neck.
Fraud doctor. Insurance companies pay him to write a second opinion report saying patients are not in need of any more treatment. The insurance company requested me to go see “their doctor” which happened to be samer saqqa. Even thu i been through 3 different surgeries dr saqqa wrote a report saying i dont need treatment and i reached maximum treatment. After getting cut off my physical therapy i had to go thought two different surgeries. Funny part is i know another person that had the same thing happen to him with dr saqqa and his report looks so similar.
I've had both my lumbar and cervical spine fused by Dr. Saqqa. He has the best bed side manner I have seen in a physician. He is very knowledgeable and is available to you after surgery. He doesn't push surgery on you and really tries to help take away your pain. His office staff is efficient and effective and the therapy team at the office is great. I highly recommend Dr. Saqqa as an orthopedic surgeon.
The staff was polite. An Dr.saqqa was very patience, professional an answered all my questions. My experience was 5+. Thank you Dr saqqa. Stay healthy.
Dr. Saqqa gave me my life back. I'm no longer in pain or laid up in bed for day's. I can now run and play with my kids. He's such a caring, compassionate doctor, who truly wants the best for his patients.
I was having issues with my back and nerve in one leg. I decided to have surgery since nothing else was working. Had the problem in two areas of my back and the pain was intense. Glad I had surgery and it was a success. Doing much better. Dr. Saqqa was empathetic and I was glad he was my surgeon. He’s an excellent Doctor.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
