Dr. Annis no doubt is highly intelligent and is current and well educated in family medicine. However his ability to communicate that knowledge to patients is poor. Rather than speak in general medical terms he talks to us as though we are two year olds. In doing so not only does some of the relevant information get left out but a communication wall is formed. I am an educated intelligent female in my 60s and find that insulting and deminishing.

I have been a patient of Dr. Annis for years and he has also been my children's doctor since they were born. He always takes the time to listen and will always get us in when we need to see him. He is an excellent doctor that truly cares.

Dr.annis is wonderful. The receptionist on the other hand are slow, have an attitude, and generally seem like they do not want to do their job and your bothering them.

Dr. Annis has always demonstrated a sincere concern for me as a person. He takes the time to answer my questions, explaining things clearly. He is not at all stuffy, like some doctors; rather, he is personable, knowledgable, helpful, and he listens carefully. The office staff are great too.
