Excellent doctor! Very professional and knowledgeable. Listened to all my concerns and acted appropriately. So glad to have him as primary care physician!!

Pathetic! This one word is sufficient to describe this young gentleman who is new in the line of medicines. On the first visit, he came up to be polite. From the 2nd visit onwards, he started to show his colors. He wanted me to take quite a few unnecessary tests and would react angrily if and when I firmly said 'NO.' ( I closely work with Doctors) He started to criticize me for everything I did, to the extent of going with racial comments and commenting about my social interactions. He stopped one of my medications for Diabetes and when the numbers shot up, he started blaming me for neglecting my health and not being serious about it. And the final blow was, he didn't want to see me anymore because I was not obeying his order (he was the one to stop my medication, making racial comments and commenting about my social behavior, trying to push me to get unnecessary tests done) and here, I was at fault for not obeying the Doctor. I am genuinely disgusted and I hope some actions are taken.

I met with Dr. Hinckley for the first time in October 2020. He was very personable and easy to talk to, and he took the time to listen. I felt valued as a patient and am delighted to have Dr. Hinckley as my PCP.

Very easy doctor/ patient conversations, always has time.

Treated both of my parents with the utmost disrespect. Unable to empathize with patients or understand differing viewpoints. Young, naive, and devoid of social intelligence.

Very poor doctor for anyone who needs care. Agree with the previous reviewer ... family experienced similar situation of without medicine for chronic illness, driven by his actions. Focus is to order tests and get you in the clinic as many times as possible (even if not covered by insurance), even when you do not need or want it. You are left to fend for yourself and your family... had to change doctor to reduce stress, health risk and unnecessary spend.

The absolute worst Dr. in the 55+ years of seeing a doctor. I have severely high blood pressure and within a 3 month period he has let my prescription expire and would not do a temporary refill until I was seen in the office. This was during the recent COVID-19 pandemic. And he put me at a very high health risk and a possible stroke for me. If you value your health Or health of a loved one avoid him at all costs. I am currently speaking with a patient advocate to see what I can do before it’s to late for someone

Transplanted to a Sodus area farm due to retirement. Got hooked with an excellent Doctor, who had to relocate. She recommended Dr. Hinckley.....a great recommendation for me and my wife! Attentive, questioning, and aware of the issues that affect 70 plus individuals.

He is a wonderful doctor,very caring and cares about you..

I went to Dr. Hinckley after experiencing several months of pain in my lower back and abdomen. He identified a urinary tract infection that was quickly cleared up with an antibiotic. But the pain persisted, now going on 7 months. I was told I needed a cat scan which he ordered through my insurance. The insurance returned a denial stating that he had not given any the necessary information to indicate the test was needed. I called again and asked that he request the test again and include the appropriate info. He sent another request which was again denied on the same grounds. They said he did not tell them why the test was needed or what the indicators were. After I got the letter from my insurance company I waited for a follow up. None came. I called and asked what was going on. I was told that the test was denied. Period. No plan B, nothing! I was left holding the bag and the pain. I am still suffering and looking for another doctor. This office does not care!
