In undergoing 30 radiation treatments on my eyelid I found Dr. Gielda to be exceptional. He was hands-on for the treatments and took whatever time necessary to answer any concerns in detail. I would recommend him highly.

Dr. Gielda is a very personable, easy to connect with person. He answered all my questions about my condition, treatment and care concisely and with compassion. I felt very comfortable having Dr. Ben take care of me!

My experience with Dr. B. Gielda was that he presented as rude, disrespectful, tripped over himself everytime he had to say the word "breast", avoided eye contact. Seemed uncomfortable talking with me. Stayed in the room, with only a curtain between us while I was trying to dress after the exam and in less than 90 seconds, while I was still dressing, he threw the curtain open and stated "I guess you're not ready"...didn't ask if I was ready and offered no apology. Didn't present as knowledgeable or confident. I hope other woman seek another provider so they do not have to be humiliated or feel "dirty" by Dr. Guilda's apparent lack of respect.

He made me feel at ease by being honest and explaining medical jargon so I could understand and remember. No matter how long it took for me to comprehend my diagnosis, he stayed right by my side. He even promised to show my grandson how to throw a knuckle ball next visit. I trust him and believe he is one of the best.
