I’ve been going through a difficult situation for quite a number of years and had lost hope. I met Dr. Wood for the first time and felt very much listened to and treated with the utmost concern and respect. He asked a lot of questions, explained so much in a way I understood, and took a great deal of time with me to figure out a treatment plan. I’m hopeful for red first time in a long time and am really looking forward to working with him!

Dr. Wood preformed emergency surgery on me for an ectopic pregnancy. Everything happened very quickly but I felt safe under Dr. Wood’s care. He explained details and expectations then followed through as planned with my surgery. This was my first surgery and I’m so thankful to be under Dr. Woods care and his team that evening. Thank you for all that you do! We appreciate you.

During labor (which by true definition was labor) he told me 1. I wasnt in labor 2. If I cold hold off having my baby that would be best as he was too tired to deliver 3. Had to find a diagram to see when he could give me pitocin (cuz he's supposed to know that! He's a doctor of OB afterall) Then him and his midwife fought me on giving me an epidural or a drug to relax me as I had been painfully contracting for 3 days prior with no relief and I was in miserable pain. Worst experience with a doctor ever.

Dr. Wood is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! His professionalism and bedside manner are a unique rarity that I have encountered since moving here a couple of months ago. Dr. Wood was extremely gentle in his approach and sensitive to the topic at hand. He asked all of the important questions and listened intently as he gave me an opportunity to ask what was on my heart. I am thankful that an unfortunate emergency led me to his care.

I first met Dr. Wood approximately three years ago at Bella Nova Women's Health for a prolapsed bladder condition. I felt very re-assurred as he explained to me the causes and effects of my condition, and that a wait-and-see outlook was the best prescription for the time being. This past February, surgery became necessary, and my stay in the hospital for the procedure went smoothly. I want to thank Dr. Wood's for his outstanding work and friendly, courteous counsel. I highly recommend him.

I had to be treated for a large fibroid uterus. Dr. Wood was extremely knowledgeable about what needed to be done, He is caring and courteous. He is a real asset to our community.

I saw Dr. Wood in the office at Bella Nova, and then he was also the Dr. at the hospital who delivered my daughter in October 2015. I appreciate his straight forward answers and explanations to my questions. When I would ask a question, I knew I was going to get a real answer, and not something to just calm my nerves or make me feel better. He does not rush, but does not waste time either. My experience with Dr. Wood is a big part of what brought me back to Bella Nova for baby #2.

Dr. Wood was fabulous during my entire pregnancy and c-section. I would recommend him to family and friends. He took the time after work to come check on me post delivery and showed genuine concern about me as a patient. The entire staff at BellaNova is so friendly and caring and rarely make you wait more than 10 min at any appointment. I have been to other OB/GYN offices in the area and this one is the best by far
