The doctor and nurse that I'm dealt with was unprofessional and very rude. The doctor told me I was trouble cause I am young. The doctor don't like anyone that challenge him.

If I was dying ; I'd probably just try to work it out on my own. You can tell they don't care- watch the response to this review be the same copy and paste message they give everyone else (showing how little they care)

Honestly if I'm dying I'm just gonna stay home.

We recently moved here and I have been more than happy with my experiences with Lakeland-not only the hospital for arthoscopic surgery, but also the visits to the outpatient Services Center on Hollywood. Very efficient, on time, pleasant and easy to navigate.

We brought our 5 year old daughter to Lakeland ER last weekend. She had a severe arm break. We spent 5 hours in the ER while we waited for a transfer. Every single employee we encountered was attentive, caring and knowledgeable. Our family is forever grateful for the Lakeland ER staff and their excellent care!

I went in because I was having trouble breathing. I was scared. They gave me a covid test, and said ‘well you’re young so whatever’ and kicked me out the door. Then they charged 1.5 thousand dollars. I’d rather die than ever go back here. They do not care about you and they will charge you your liver for doing literally nothing. *update* I demanded a full list of services rendered as required by law, they haven’t given me one. November 25th, Sister Admitted for Broken Hip. 26th surgery @ 10:30, no call till almost 7 pm. Friday I called to see how things were going & I wanted to talk to a Dr about her . I was told ok , then got a call Saturday to ask permission to give some plasma . I asked why , Protocol for C19, still no Dr call. I’m her legal guardian I know they are busy, there is no reason a Dr can’t tell me exactly what’s going on. I’m a medical professional also & understand things. But no communication to her family member about total condition is unacceptable. If you want your 3 star rating going up let’s take a genuine interest in patients family also. Today at the ER The nurse that I got for my dad was extremely rude and act like she don’t care for her patients my dad understands English but has a hard time speaking the language so I was there to help him out and my mom was there to she doesn’t understand English either and the nurse was legit urging with me saying that they know English just fine ! honestly do your self a favor and don’t come here !! I was an emergency patient and spent several days in St. Joe and several at the rehab hospital in Watervliet. The nurses, assistant nurses, specialized testing personnel, social services/workers, daily operation workers, physical therapists and of course, Doctors to be exceptional. Their care and attitude in providing that care encouraged me to recuperate. They will always have a special place in my heart.. they cared about me and provided me comfort during difficult times..These people are exceptional human beings and it was obvious that their care is motivated by was something more than collecting a paycheck. I am home and continue to recover and I miss their smiles and care. Thank you. Kuddos to floor one and Watervliet.
