Great Lakes Eye Care's Online Review Report Card

The Dr was great but the assistant lady was not nice to my son. She made him cry and did not do what the first lady did. I believe she was to rough to him. He's not even 2 years old yet.

I was given a referral to this office because I've been having severe problems with my vision. They called me to set me up for an appointment, January 4th at 1pm. I arrived a few minutes early with paperwork, insurance cards and ID in hand as I had been asked to do when appt was made. I stood & waited in line til I was called to the desk. Upon arriving at the desk & giving my name this rude lady preceded to tell me I was late for my appt & would have to reschedule. I told her I was not late. 1st she said my appt was at 1230 then she said 1245. I gave her the paperwork they had sent me which showed it was 1pm. She replied well they changed it from 1 to 130 then to 1230. I asked how they can change something without letting the pt know but she didn't have an answer. While standing at the desk I could hear the receptionist next to me telling the elder gentleman Sorry we changed your appt to the 18th. He handed her his appt card showing his appt for Jan 4th at 1:15. She handed him back the card saying we changed your appt!The people in this office do NOT know what they are doing nor do they care about the patients!! Shame on each of them from the receptionist too the Drs!!

Dr. didn't listen to my concerns, sent me home dizzy and said just pull over if it happens again. I would not recommend going here.

Plan to spend at least half your day moving from waiting room to waiting room. If you're appointment is at 10:30, don't plan on being seen until 12:30 at the earliest. Is scheduling really so difficult?

These have to be the most incompetent people I have ever met. Their billing system is archaic causing them to continue to charge for a bill that has been paid off. It took 3 weeks and 2 requests to receive paperwork. I would not trust them with my seeing eye dog.

Every time I come here for an appointment I leave just so frustrated and irritated. The average time I'm there for a simple appointment is about 3 hours. They forget about you in the room half the time. Then they dilated my eyes without asking if I have a ride or sunglasses. Didn't give me any. So I drove home and almost got into a car accident because I couldn't see. They don't care. God forbid they are held liable! Everyone there is disgruntled and angry. Half the people don't know what's going on. Took me like 30 mins just to check out!! If you have an appointment here, your whole day will be ruined. Awful.

Extremely unprofessional

Original service was okay. Today, I called for my son’s glasses to get fixed and they told me to come in. I get here and they aren’t even open on Friday’s. The hours on Google are NOT ACCURATE at all. These are the right hours. I drove 45 minutes with my kids for nothing.

It's like flea market of doctors like an assembly line one day I waited two and a half hours and I had to leave I had other appointments they so we're just now getting to you I should buy I rescheduled they didn't answer my questions clearly they would not give me a firm answer about what's matter with my eye

This is the best place to have your cataract surgery! Dr. Cooke is an amazing caring qualified doctor! He actually calls his patients after surgery to see how they are doing. Wow, that's a real caring physician! The most impressive part is, they have their mission statement posted on the wall. The first line reads..... Treat all patients as Christ would. What a bold and brave statement! We are all children of God. What a beautiful way to live out the Christian message. Thank you for being who you are!
