The doctor and nurse that I'm dealt with was unprofessional and very rude. The doctor told me I was trouble cause I am young. The doctor don't like anyone that challenge him.

If I was dying ; I'd probably just try to work it out on my own. You can tell they don't care- watch the response to this review be the same copy and paste message they give everyone else (showing how little they care)

I wouldn’t even give this place a 1 star! This is the most unprofessional pathetic hospital I’ve ever seen. If you are seriously hurt don’t go there. You won’t ever see a doctor or even be cared for. In the 72 hours we were there never saw a doctor unless asked for them.

My dad went in today passed out in our bathroom and was vomiting. And it was more than a three hour wait, still didn't get seen. They were trying to back their time of wait to the fact that he wasn't critical enough and yet there were people going in and out of there that were after him. I think that this hospital needs some people that know what they are doing in there. He finally left after waiting forever, people that are vomiting and passing out need to be effing seen not waited for three to four hours. This is absurd! I recently moved to this area and had surgery at Lakeland today. Everyone was so nice and caring, clean and efficient. My nurse Kim was awesome! Pleasantly surprised today

I was an emergency patient and spent several days in St. Joe and several at the rehab hospital in Watervliet. The nurses, assistant nurses, specialized testing personnel, social services/workers, daily operation workers, physical therapists and of course, Doctors to be exceptional. Their care and attitude in providing that care encouraged me to recuperate. They will always have a special place in my heart.. they cared about me and provided me comfort during difficult times..These people are exceptional human beings and it was obvious that their care is motivated by was something more than collecting a paycheck. I am home and continue to recover and I miss their smiles and care. Thank you. Kuddos to floor one and Watervliet. I live about 45 min from this hospital. In the past if I had issues I would go to one of the hospitals in Kalamazoo. After hearing people talk very positive about this hospital I decided to come to Lakeland. I know there are negitive reviews, but I also understand that their are things that Dr's and nurses are simply unable to do. Last night, I came in for an issue that I knew was something, and has been bothering me for a while. They got me in quickly and the front desk workers where professional and kind. It did take them a while to get me a room, but that is only because of the Covid outbreak. Which is not something I blame on the hospital. The Doctor came and gave me some news that really was hard to digest. But, I will deal with that. I think in our culture we forget how hard it is to deal with life and death on a daily basis. I can say for certain that the staff at this hospital care. When we are inconvenienced they are as well because they want what's best for you. Honestly if I'm dying I'm just gonna stay home.

We recently moved here and I have been more than happy with my experiences with Lakeland-not only the hospital for arthoscopic surgery, but also the visits to the outpatient Services Center on Hollywood. Very efficient, on time, pleasant and easy to navigate.
