I very much appreciate Dr. Baghelai's willingness to address all my questions with detailed answers that I can understand. His calm manner is so reassuring! Since my heart surgery four years ago, I have felt much stronger thanks to his expertise and advice.

He performed aortic valve replacement on my husband's. He did a fantastic job! He was very good with communication and keeping us informed. We would highly recommend him!

Excellent! After a 3rd heart attack I talked with the folks at Cleveland Clinic for some recommendations. The person there asked why I was calling Cleveland when we have the best in St. Joseph: Dr. Baghelai! Made the appointment and Dr. Baghelai performed triple bypass surgery on October 29, 2015. 6 years later I'm now 78 and still in good health thanks to Dr. Baghelai's work and followup, and Dr. Jerome Kuhnlein's continuing care. The surgery was the best experience I've had: preparation was low stress and post-surgery was nearly 100% painless. Followup and therapy was excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Baghelai.

My husband, Greg, had a stroke on June 12, 2017. Dr. Baghelai ultimately did Greg's surgery to clean out his artery. Dr. Baghelai was attentive, kind, informative and very reassuring. He did not seemed rushed and answered all of our questions clearly. We are especially grateful for the follow up care Greg will have with Dr. Baghelai for the upcoming years. It is reassuring to have a doctor of his quality in our community.
