Recently went to Franciscan Urgent Care in Chesterton and Dr. Westfall was my attending doctor. He took extra precautions to ensure I was okay to go home instead of assuming I just had a simple virus causing a relentless cough. Thorough, KIND, knowledgeable physician. I wish he had a regular practice.

I saw Dr. Westfall in the ER in South Haven recently. He was fantastic! Very kind, knowledgeable, and had a great bedside manner. He listened to me, explained things well, involved me in the decision making process, and made sure I was comfortable with everything. He told me to call him if I got home and had questions or concerns. I wish he had a private practice as he seems to be a great Doctor.

Last month my 88 year-old mom was taken to Lakeland Hospital in Niles, MI. She had experienced a "stroke-plus" in her sleep. Dr. Michael W. Westfall was one of many Angels that cared for her that day. It was her time to let go, and Dr. Westfall was a beautiful part of that process. A physician? Of course. But he let me see him as a Man, with a Heart as well. He CARED for her, but he CARED for US, her family as well. I will FOREVER be grateful that he was the doctor in charge that day.
