Has anyone else experienced mishaps with this Dr? Like accidentally examining the wrong hole?

Quick and correct diagnosis. Prescribed the right medication for me and I was very happy about that. He focuses on asking the right questions to arrive at the right diagnosis.

After waiting 3 hours in the ER Waiting Room at the QE2, Dr. Campbell pulled out a cyst out my right cheek with only topical freezing gel and the proceeded to show it to me . I am a very squemish person and didn't want to see anything that. He then sent me home without any kind of follow up plan, 2 types of antibiotics which endedat different times, and no pain medication plan for the procedure. I was so scared from this ordeal that I refused to go back to the hospital which intern caused me to become septic. I ended up back in the ER for 5 hours and then rushed up to the Operating Room, where my parents and loved one was informed that I could lose my leg, or die. Luckly I had a good suregon and I survived with my leg intact.

He is a great doctor who looked after me in South Africa (Meadowbanks, Umhlanga Rocks) after realising I had a huge problem . Jaluka my friend - Jaluka!!!

I am very thankful to have had Dr. Campbell as the emergency doctor when I visited. He recognized my symptoms and properly diagnosed me after being in pain for months before. He explained things thoroughly and got me on track with the proper medication. I got my normal life back.

Dr. Campbell is a very caring doctor. As he was explaining what was going on with me,(having anxiety and panic issues) he made it a point to tell me in a polite and sympathetic way that I would be okay and nothing bad would happen to me. He offered me Lorazapam to calm me down, then he came back in and explained to me for about 30 minutes how the human body worked and how anxiety affects everybody. He is very down to earth and an amazing listener! Doesn't interrupt and let's you get everything out before he responds. He helped me make a plan to combat my mental health and made necessary referrals for me. He is definitely an asset to the QEII Emergency department! You will be very lucky to have him as your doctor if you end up in emerg!

Dr. Sam Campbell is a terrific doctor! He is friendly, warm, and will do everything he can to make sure you are well taken care of. He is so nice and you feel like he actually cares. Even if he's not my doctor, but he sees me in the hall on a stretcher, he always stops to check on me.

Play hockey with this guy. Took a puck to the arm and he diagnosed me right on the spot, checked my arm to see if it was broken and told me what to do all this while he was off duty. Afterward another one of the guys in our group told me that he got cut up and needed stitches so Sam went right into the ER told him to show up and he'd be right with him to stitch him up which he promptly did. It's a tough job but he obviously cares about people enough to go above and beyond what is required.
