Horrible doctor. After years of seeing other dermatologists, I came back to warn other POC who come to him in regards to their keloids. He made them 10x worse by refusing to listen to me when I said they can’t be genital warts (I was not sexually active). Go to a doctor who specializes in ethnic skin or just someone else who treats KELOIDS and knows what they’re talking about.

I went to Dr D for a squamous cell carcinoma which was on the top of my head.....of course very concerning, with fear also of whether hair would return.... After procedure I was bandaged up and told not to remove it for several days....... Started issues that night, worsening overnight..... felt like bugs crawling in the wound..... called the next morning with concerns..... Knew it was a day he would be in office... After describing to receptionist my concerns her statement to me was “what do u want us to do about it”..... Unbelievable? Told her to give me to his nurse who was in surgery...... she was no more helpful, said to stick to scheduled recheck...... Ended up going to my own doctor , who cultured it once unwrapped to find a major infection...... Took quite awhile to get rid of and grateful it did finally heal, after sometime of having yellow pus and being inflamed, and infection eating on the area......Also went to infectious disease dr, but he was happy my general dr took steps.... After a year the squamous cell returned in same place, showing the perimeter was not clear as he said and had to undergo the same surgery again.... This time I used Dr Holly Harris in South Bend..... was concerned about whether I would have enuf scalp to pull to cover surgery area.... Dr Ginard, SJ plastic surgeon, after a consultation, agreed that if I needed, he would take me in from Dr Harris’ surgery to his office for repair, if needed..... Dr Harris was onboard, although she was able to use my own scalp.... again, major worry on hair return.....All worked out in the end.... thx to my support team of drs I now have..... Hair returned enuf to cover after vitamins, special shampoos, etc... I was very lucky! I won’t return to Dr D... Dr Brown and Dimotropoulos split, not long after.....no idea why.... coincidence? I have no confidence in this office....

I have seen Dr. D. in his St Joe office for the past 10 years. It is hard for me to give total trust to people outside my family, so to say he has earned my trust is saying a lot. The latest procedure I had done by Dr. D. was to have a basal cell removed from my eyelid. I was uneasy, he was confident. His confidence calmed me and the removal was successful. Thank you! M. Reed

Helped with my skin condition and with my yearly skin exam efficiently would have liked a bit more time to ask questions and for some choices on things but I was appreciative to get my skin issue dealt with nevertheless

I had a mole check in July, his office was very rude and cold. The receptionist was very combative and extremely rude. After my mole was removed, I never received a call letting me know if the mole was malignant or benign. The wound that was left was very big and it is now October and has yet to heal properly, it is big red and has risen. I tried calling to schedule an appointment and was met with a rude receptionist who couldn't find me in the system. This is UNACCEPTABLE!

Staff not friendly, and doctor very quick to leave room without taking time to listen to my concerns.

Dr removed several moles and left scars on my body. He was very rude and intimidating and frequently spoke ill of the other physicians in his practice. I am glad that I don't have to let him touch me every again. Even his staff seemed terrified of him.

THE MAN IS RUDE! I READ SOME OF HIS REVIEWS AND NOTICED ALL THE NICE REVIEWS ARE THE ONES HE CUT OPEN! TYPICAL! WOULD NOT WASTE ANYTIME WITH THIS MAN! OUR VISIT WITH HIM WAS UNPLEASANT! HE CUT ME OFF TALKING ABOUT MY SKIN ISSUES. CHARGED ME $300 FOR BENIGN TREATMENT THAT THE OTHER DOCTOR TREATED ME FOR NO CHARGE BECAUSE IT WAS JUST A COLD SPRAY. BAD BEDSIDE MANNER! AWFUL TO HIS STAFF AND JUST PLAN BITTER!

Pleasant experience. From the moment you walk in starting with the front desk every body is very pleasant. I have been seen by Dr. Dimitropoulos several times for myself and my family members. Each time he explained the condition and what to expect from the treatment. I recommend him to my friends and neighbors and several of them have seen him also.
