Southwestern Medical Clinic, Stevensville's Online Review Report Card

Arriving at the walk-in clinic looked calm and not super busy. Was told to fill out form and wait in car for buzzer, after about an hour and 45 minute wait. The patient i brought went back inside to ask about timing, to be told she’d have to wait another 45 minutes the appointment took a total of 3 hours. For a walk in clinic that just seems unreasonable even with the pandemic. Not to mention the fact that the staff was unbelievably rude for healthcare workers especially to the sick or unwell.

I have a tooth that is infected and I tested positive for Covid 4 days ago. I don’t have any symptoms. The dentist won’t see me for 10 days and told me to go to urgent care. I just need some antibiotics. I talked to the receptionist and she told me they wouldn’t see me without 3 or more symptoms and to go get a covid test at a free site that takes 24-48 hrs. I am living in a clown world

You will die waiting to be seen. Don't even bother with this place. The ladies at the front are so rude also.

Was told to go there for covid test. The people especially the receptionist was very rude! Supposed to be a free test but you have to pay $165.00 office call. Will never go back.

I normally don’t write reviews on places but since I work in healthcare as well during these awful times some things need to be said. There is not an ounce of friendliness or even a pleasant tone behind the front desk. People come in sick and would rather not be given an attitude. I get it, we’re all stressed out but that sour attitude isn’t making things any better and if this is how staff treats people here then just close down. The nurse that walked me to my room rushed me and the NP was very aggressive and rough with feeling my sinuses and throat. Totally unnecessary. I’d expect way better from Spectrum Lakeland and today I was honestly embarrassed to say I worked for Lakeland when I left. Do better.

The walk in clinic front desk is always so incredibly mean, rude and heartless. We tried to take my 5 year old son which was screaming and crying due to ear pain and she made us wait 3.5 hours for him to be seen. There were people being seen before him that were obviously not hurting as bad as my son. He NEEDED help and meds and there is clearly a sign on the wall that says that they don’t see patients by order which they come in but by order of importance. I asking her 3 times: “please, how much longer. He really needs to be seen…” and she kept getting more and more disrespectful towards me. It’s was an awful experience. I wish I could do 0 stars because even they NP was not the best. She didn’t even check one of the ears (she just assumed both ears were infected instead of checking BOTH EARS.) so horrendous.

Excellent staff,I have been treated very well and have recieved help at this office several times in my life.They are a great.

We were told not to return by Dr. Shomaker. Our family no longer vaccinates due to religious reasons. I was lectured for 10 minutes straight with my young son in the room about our beliefs. And told "normally they vet better at the front desk" and he shouldn't have been seen to begin with. I was also told the lecture was because he feels so strongly about the health of children--apparently so much you are willing to deny them care.

Dr Jackson is the worst dr at SWMC I been going to him for about four years and this man has never seen my body parts and trying to tell me what I need for my body I will never go back to him again he is not a good dr

The front desk service is atrocious. No empathy or compassion, only barking orders at people. Can someone please explain to me WHY someone with a leg injury would be expected to walk back to their car to wait? Can’t even comment on the medical staff because we never got a chance to even see them.
