List of Thomas Cunningham's Reviews
Have been trying for over a week to get an honest answer as to why my vision exam was billed through my medical insurance rather than my vision insurance. I am having a hard time with getting a call back Dr. Carr who is somewhat new called me Friday and said I will billed medically because I am older and my eyes are going through the natural aging process (what??). It was billed as me having "retinal degeneration" which Dr. Carr said is what they put on people's bills so they can bill medically... I have no medical condition and did not make my appointment because of one. I am being billed medically because I am old! I just wanted a vision exam. Dr Carr told me he would talk with Dr. Cunningham and call me back today. He did not. I have been going to CVS for 10 years. I also was told by Auggie that she would return my call and she did not. I can no longer recommend this practice and am now stuck with an $85 bill.
Dr. Cunningham was very good. The service in the front however leaves something to be desired. First, the wrong prescription was ordered so the glasses had to be sent back for new lenses, then a text was sent saying the glasses were ready for pickup but when I went to get them I was told the text was sent in error. I can understand that but the explanation was presented to me like I was an idiot. All in all I'm not very happy and will consider another provider.
I would recommend Dr. Cunningham to anyone and everyone. He is very kind and professional person. His staff was extremely helpful and a delight to talk with. This is where I will go for all my optical needs from now on.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
