Dr Chengelis is certainly a 5 star Dr. I am so pleased with my Paraesophigeal Hiatal Hernia surgery. He has a great compassion for his patients. He listens and interacts to every question and concern prior to surgery and makes you feel totally secure with your decisions .. he makes you feel at ease and he is so good the surgery is almost painless .. recovery has been just as he described and I am thrilled with the outcome already . He doesn’t embellish on his ability or his skills but I can say he is an excellent choice. !!

Am absolutely pleased with my left side hernia surgical procedure from Dr. Chengelis. The outcome was a lot less painful than I thought and recovery was too. The friendly office staff are very helpful in scheduling the procedure with Beaumont hospital. Would highly recommend Advanced Laparoscopic Surgical to anyone needing hernia surgery!

Had Gastric Sleeve done by Dr. Chengelis on 3/17/23 So far the results have been phenomenal! 32 pounds down in 3 weeks! Recovery was quick and little pain. If you are considering bariatric surgery Dr. Chengelis is the way to go 5 out of 5!!!

In 2007 I had weight loss surgery, and in 2023 I had gallbladder surgery. Dr chengelis has not changed at all he explains everything so you trust him completely. I never had any issues and recovered great.

Best surgeon! Was scheduled for surgery within a week of the initial consult. Surgery was pain free and I'm feeling zero pain since. Truly a lifesaver!

Dr Chengelis did an incredible job on my hernia surgery, I had my original appointment on a Monday and he scheduled me for surgery that Friday. Everything went well and I just had my follow-up, the recovery is going good and everything looks great. Dr Chengelis and his staff are incredible and I highly recommend him, just an outstanding Dr and person.

I had hernia repair surgery with Dr. Chengelis two weeks ago and I am thrilled with the surgical procedure, subsequent follow up attention, and the outcome, Dr. Chengelis was thorough and reassuring that he could repair the hernia with minor discomfort and with a much less recovery period than I had anticipated. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND his services if needed!!
