Steadily improving since full knee replacement surgery, three weeks ago. My knee is nice and straight now. I started walking over a half mile circle trail on the twelfth day and doubled that several times since. Very little pain to report, after the third day. I stopped pain medication at that point. I ended physical therapy after second week, with Dr. Nelson's okay. I'm doing well. Sleep is becoming easier at night and I expect to be 95 percent healed by the end of sixth week. Can't endorse Dr. Nelson enough.

Great express enough how great Dr. Nelson and his surgical team were on pre and post operation of my hip replacement. Courteous, friendly, reassuring ..all that and more. From the moment I enter the surgical ward till I left, I knew I was in good hands . A big thank you and applause! I am 2 weeks out of surgery and healing well.

Dr. Nelson is a very nice doctor. He is a straight shooter. Tells it like it is ( which is good). Has a sense of humor. Cares about his patients. He asks how you are doing and allows time for you to ask questions too. Would highly recommend Dr. Nelson.

First of all when you called in there ,someone answered the phone within five or six rings and unlike some other places they let ring and ring so u have to call back. Secondaly, Everybody at ascension hospital and Dr Nelson’s office was very kind and pleasant to be with. Thirdly, Dr Nelson himself was again all of the above: kind pleasant, easy to talk to. He has great eye contact And most importantly, he does not hurry you through the exam. He takes his time asks -if you have any questions. He will also show you and go over your exam photos of the x-ray or MRI Or any of your other test results,which is very very nice.
