List of Sanjeev Kumarkaul's Reviews
Incredibly skilled surgeon who remedied my issues and was always available for questions. I can’t thank him enough.
Had robotic kidney surgery, and then prostate surgery with Dr Kaul. Both were clearly explained, flawlessly done and nearly painless. But a day after the second surgery, there was a problem with the catheter that the resident couldn't figure out. Dr Kaul didn't leave it to the nurses. He came up to my room and spent about an hour: calming me down, convincing me to let him remove it and reinstall another one. And he did..and, to my surprise, nearly painlessly. While wide awake. His reputation with other doctors and my results tell me he's an outstanding surgeon. But from my experience with my eyes open, I know he's a great, caring doctor
We have been trying to get my husbands vasectomy scheduled for months now. First, they had miscommunication within their own offices. My husband went to his appointment only to find out he wasn’t actually scheduled. From there, we wanted to know the price that we’d be paying before we went with the process and literally no one would tell us this. At first we were set to go to his location on mackinaw but after that mess up, we were told to scheduled at the bay rd location but they’re have to ask the dr when he was available. Shouldn’t they know his availability?! Numerous people were supposed to call us back and haven’t. This simple procedure should not be this hard to schedule!
Dr. Kaul was very respectful. very nice. Did an excellent job on my surgery the staff at covenant were very Kind. It was the best surgery experience I've had...He made me new....fix me right up...thank You, Dr Kaul..
Dr Kaul was recommended by my doctor. I was so nervous at first, but he was wonderful, friendly, and reassuring. I was up and walking around the same day with almost no pain or discomfort. Went home the next day. His skill level for radical prostectomy surgery is 11 out of 10 !! Thank you and God bless you Dr. Kaul for saving my life.
Very knowledgeable and excellent bedside manner. I have worked with him for 8 years and I am also his patient. I can absolutely say that the negative review mentioning sexual harassment and assault are completely false. What a despicable thing to say to try and harm the reputation of a highly respected and skilled surgeon
Dr Kaul is an amazing doctor and an amazing human being. He shows empathy and caring which is very rare. Most doctors want to spend as little time with you but he never makes you feel rushed. He operated on me and my husband and I have never had a bad experience.
My husband saw Dr Kaul once in the Clarkston office. The office help was terrible. The Dr was not thorough at all. Other Drs could not believe he didn't do some routine stuff during the exam. When we came back for the 2nd confirmed visit the Dr had moved out of the complex without any word. Tried calling the office (Royal Oak) & they acted like there was no problem and would not even help us to get another appointment. This entire place is a joke. I would not trust my hamster to them. Do NOT GO HERE.
He may be a wonderful urologist, however he’s a horrible human. He has made multiple sexual advances with his staff, which includes sexual assault on at least two staff members within the last year.
Initial visits were good but after my father's surgery, it was impossible to get a call from doctor Kaul to understand how it went. 5 days later still do not know, broken promises to call several times. Puts nurses at hospital in an impossible situation trying to coordinate communication with patients. Remember, patients are paying your bills. They should come first.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
