She got me in imediately ,do to problem I was having. Thank God,or I would not be here. She saved my life in 2008. I had a hole penetrating through my stomach. One more layer and that would have been it for me.I had called 4 or 5 doctors in my plan closer to my location. No one would listen to issues just can not see you for weeks. When I explained problem the person spoke to Dr Ravikant ,she had me in that day.tells you like it is. Great Doctor.
I first saw Dr. Ravakant at Beaumont Hospital during a Crohn's flare up. She knew the correct amount of time to keep me on steroids to reduce the inflammation. Previous doctors always stopped steroids too soon and therefore, my condition would be better for awhile and then worsen once I was off steroids. Dr. Ravakant's approach was to keep me on steroids for a few months and then overlap the last part of the steroid treatment with Pentasa. It worked and I am now in remission! My previous doctor (who did not keep me on steroids long enough, kept insisting that I needed biologics. I was reluctant because of the horrible side affects of the drug in which many patients require hospitalization a few times per year due to infection. Other things I truly appreciate about Dr. Ravakant is that she takes the time to explain things and educate patients. She stays current on medical issues and is incredibly knowledgeable. My son also has Crohn's and his previous doctor also pushed us to start biologics. Dr. Ravakant was able to get his symptoms under control with steroids and Pentasa.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
