My visit today to Michigan Orthopedic Surgeons started with someone taking me to an examination room and asking why are you here, recording the info and leaving. Shortly an X-ray tech arrived and took me for X-rays. Then back to the little room. Then a PA arrived and asked a lot of questions, reviewed the X-rays, examined my foot, provided a diagnosis and recommended treatment, then left. Finally the Doctor arrived. He seemed in a hurry, talked fast, repeated what the PA said, offered to provide a foot pad and exercise sheet, and left. At check out they said they had no order for an exercise sheet and the foot pad wasn’t free but $8. I declined the pad as I think I can find it cheeper elsewhere. I would have preferred to skip the PA and just see the Doctor.
