List of Avery Arora's Reviews
I never had my first visit had very rude phone call from someone in his office. I manage an office with 16 doctors and was shocked at how rude his office staff was to me. I canceled my appointment and found another doctor and let the doctor that recommended him know what happened. He might be a wonderful doctor but really needs to take a look at his staff.
Dr. Arora is a very good doctor but his employee, especially scheduler is not. My October 10 appointment got canceled and needed to reschedule. So I called and agreed an October 23, 4 pm appointment at Bloomfield office. I picked this schedule because I live in Farmington Hills and was working that day at St. John hospital in Detroit. When I call the office to let them know that I might be late the receptionist told me that I don’t have an appointment at that clinic but in Howell. I was mad because I have to leave my work 20 minutes early so I can be in my appointment on time. I specifically mentioned when I made the appointment that it must be at Bloomfield office.
Everyone is nice, Knowledgeable & helpful… Original visit for elbow problem & cyst on my finger … administered a shot in my elbow… cyst seemed to be resolving itself at the time… on the follow up visit my elbow was doing much better… cyst was gone… there was a numb spot on the middle right side of my finger pad… isolated it down to a small portion of that finger pad with an ultrasound device. Nothing serious & no pain so we’re in a watch & see mode. Very helpful & kind!
Dr. Arora and staff were excellent. They answered all my questions and made me feel at ease throughout the process.
I talked with Sonja about my hand, having received the injection the prior week. She was incredibly helpful, kind and understanding and when I hung up the phone, sighed with pleasure as to her understanding and educating me about what the options I have for my hand. I passed this on to the nurse who called me back. It was one of the best phone calls I had ever had with a staff member of a doctor's office.
Dr. Aurora is the best, he takes his time with his patients and makes them feel like he is their best friend. His office staff are also the best making you feel welcome. I have been to two of his locations and they both are great. I would highly recommend them for any of your needs.
Efficiency, cleanliness, friendliness, diagnosis and treatment were all consistantly 5 star.
Absolutely THE best call I've ever made. Normally I'm really healthy, but I recently got Duputrens Contracture. My finger was bent an I couldn't even put my hand in my pocket I was in pain. In 2 weeks my finger was once again straight. The procedure was painless and now I'm back to normal. They even have a therapist in office. Everyone at his office were smiling at all times. What a class act! Do yourself a favor if you have hand, wrist or elbow problems and give his office a call. Im ecstatic with my results!
Dr Arora spent a good amount of time with me making sure he gave me a accurate diagnosis. He offered me several options, starting with the most conservative. I had carpal tunnel surgery with Dr. Arora several years ago and that was successful as well. Great Dr.!
Dr. Arora and his entire staff did a wonderful job from prior to the operation to after, including therapy. I would definently recommend him to anyone looking for a hand surgeon. Thanks to all of you!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
