List of Avery Arora's Reviews
What a great practice, the staff really cared about my condition and Dr. Arora was able to treat my Dupuytrens with excellent results.
Dr. Avery, this review isn't about the staff, building, or your surgical abilities, of which I have no knowledge. The staff were excellent, deserving 5 stars. In October, I tore a ligament in my wrist, confirmed by a recent MRI. I eagerly anticipated meeting you, Dr. Avery, for insights into my injury's specifics, precautions, capabilities, and seriousness. I also hoped to gain new knowledge from an orthopedic surgeon of your caliber. However, my experience was very disappointing. You neither greeted me nor made eye contact, and you briefly examined my wrist before hastily recommending a steroid injection. This visit lasted barely two minutes. My attempts to engage in a meaningful dialogue were met with snarky, irritated, and condescending responses. When I inquired about peptides and their potential in ligament repair, you dismissed them as useless, admitting to having no knowledge about them. You asked no questions about my condition, displaying a concerning lack of care and rapport. I left with lighter pockets and no new information. Your surgical skills and intelligence aren't in question, Dr. Avery, but the manner in which you let your mood influence patient interactions is alarming. A patient's visit shouldn't be compromised by the doctor's personal disposition. I was open to the idea of an injection, but a proper explanation and a sense of rapport were sorely missing. Instead of feeling understood and cared for, I felt like an unwelcome nuisance. This experience was not only unprofessional but also disheartening for a patient seeking medical guidance and support.
I never had my first visit had very rude phone call from someone in his office. I manage an office with 16 doctors and was shocked at how rude his office staff was to me. I canceled my appointment and found another doctor and let the doctor that recommended him know what happened. He might be a wonderful doctor but really needs to take a look at his staff.
A SURGEON FOR SURGEONS! I thank God for your exceptional surgical skills and kind and professional nature! I get to continue serving God and our community in surgery because of you! SUPER grateful for your care! 🙏🏾
Dr. Arora is a very good doctor but his employee, especially scheduler is not. My October 10 appointment got canceled and needed to reschedule. So I called and agreed an October 23, 4 pm appointment at Bloomfield office. I picked this schedule because I live in Farmington Hills and was working that day at St. John hospital in Detroit. When I call the office to let them know that I might be late the receptionist told me that I don’t have an appointment at that clinic but in Howell. I was mad because I have to leave my work 20 minutes early so I can be in my appointment on time. I specifically mentioned when I made the appointment that it must be at Bloomfield office.
Very professional, very friendly, and clean. Most of all the doctor took awesome care of my issue.
Dr. Arora is always understanding, Empathetic, and gentle with the injection 💉. I love his staff as well!
Excellent doctor. Very clear on what he can do and what to expect. Very pleased to see him.
I was shocked and disappointed when I received a bill for $395.00. Reduced to $254.00 after insurance for a simple 20 minute appointment. They charged for a level 4 appointment of 250.00$.Unthinkable.And charged me 75.00 for a 69 Cent piece of plastic for my finger.
This office was amazing! My son was in a motorcycle accident and was discharge from Mclaren Hospital with a broken hand. The hospital did not put him in a brace or cast. His hand was in so much pain. I went to his regular doctor who referred him to a specialist and they wanted him to wait another week before they could get him in. I called Dr Aurora’s office explained his situation and they got him right away! The office personnel were so sweet and so nice. I could tell they really cared. They knew I was a stressed out mama just trying to get this poor boy in a cast. They are amazing and I will recommend them to everyone! ❤️

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
