I was told by this Dr I needed to lose 30# before considering surgery. I was in horrid pain!! I was told my ins would deny to risky!! I had 4 other surgeries 51# heavier no issues. I’m not saying there would of been risks?? I’m not saying he is a bad dr. I called my insurance they would not have denied. Basically I was headed for a wheelchair had I not found a dr who did my hip replacement 4 weeks ago this Monday and I am now pain cane/Walker free!! Now I can continue my weight loss journey. I have my quality of life back and thank god every day for leading me to the dr who took me on as a patient!! Not ever fat person is a risk!!! I seriously became so depressed thinking no one could help me.
