My son came to ausable valley about 4yrs ago 5stars to everyone especially his case manager amy I couldn't have did this without all of you but Amy ty for the days I cried yelled didn't know how to handle things ty and to all the staff ty Dr Barba ty we have moved and I will miss the support we received ty again ausable valley you have helped us tremendously

You should be shut down!!!

I would say a good 80% of the staff at this place over the years have been absolutely terrible in my opinion. I went there all of my early teens until late teens and, even some after that due to no other options. I had multiple doctors overmedicate me which led to later physical health issues I will forever have. They do nothing but set you up with a therapist that you will not see more than once a month...Give you 2 mediocre sessions with them and then you are told that your therapist is either leaving the agency or there's some other issue for why you are now being see up with a new therapist. Again and again this happened. I have known few wonderful therapists that have worked here and all that have.. leave to work somewhere better. Most of these people are undertrained and underqualified. So many people in our community have been hurt, traumatized and neglected by this mental health office. Why is NO ONE doing anything?

well, from what I have seen this place is stupid. They may have good days, but what they put their staff through is outrageous, unethical, and they have no idea how to create a stress free work place so that clients receive the best care possible. I put one star cause it doesnt allow me to put NONE. This place needs a serious overhaul. And then after hours emergency service is handled by staff who have already worked full shifts during the day. How can I get quality care when the people caring for me are burned out. I mean everything is outsourced these days. How difficult would it be for them to hire a dedicated staff for after hours. They have to pay staff for the work anyway. My gosh. Are they going to do something about it or what? Or does a serious complaint need to be filed with the state.

Go for therapy, I see Amanda, she is one of the best therapist I've ever seen. Bonus she has a service dog, Yoshi, that tags along. The receptionist Tina is also the sweetest she is so kind and gentle.

Worst place to go... never keep appointment. Some people there think they know everything and refuse to listen even when you are just trying to get better. I would go months without appointments and what they just did to a friend of mine who needed to be admitted for mental health is unforgivable so if you want to be serviced for a week or two and then transfered to another person and have to go through everything Over and over .. go here. I will never go here again!

Just wanted you guys to know...you are all just fabulous...from reception...to therapists...to family support...everyone works as a team and gets things done...thank you for all that you do...

Both our two kids get service here and so does my Schizophrenic brother. We have had nothing but problems. My son who is on a narcotic will go 2 weeks without his medication because they don’t get to our med refill message son time or else they just neglect to do it altogether. We left 3 messages and waited and waited. I called again seeing what the hell is going on because now my patience has become very thin after two weeks and the receptionist tells us they never received any of the messages. It’s complete B.S. they are constantly canceling appointments with our family and pushing them out. There needs to be another Mental Health Company in West Branch because CMH absolutely sucks!

These "professionals" need more training. They often say things that are incredibly harmful and have ableist attitudes when they are supposed to be the ones helping. Very outdated views on Mental Health.

I took a whole bottle of klonipin prescribed by my doctor trying to kill myself. I went to Ausable coming down off of over 40 klonipin and the intake worker told me. My lack of religion was my problem and that committing suicide was the most selfish thing I could do. An older man..anyways I didn't go back. He had no right to say those things to me. My husband is on meds from Ausable He went to get his refills and only one of his three meds were in. He called Ausable and the guy at the desk was gonna blow him off till my husband demanded his full name and a supervisor. Then and only then did the guy at the desk call the nurse and discover it was a clerical error so my husband could get his meda. Don't go to this place and if you do make sure about everything they do. These are not well trained people.
