Tried to come in and have someone take a quick look at something on my face that just popped up. Was a little worried. They're so busy, they couldn't get me in until June. Really? It's not like I needed heart transplant. Been here a while ago, and wasn't impressed, even less so now.
Does anyone else feel they are overcharged by this practiceStaff not helpful in resolving issues with bill
Worst Downriver dermatology office!! Inexperienced Physician assistant Leslie. Went here to get some cosmetic work done (Botox). This isn't my first rodeo with the product/ process (use to go to AMY who was phenomenal). Her technique is complete shit. she either diluted the product with too much saline which made it ineffective or doesn't have the slightest clue on how many units to use or how to properly inject the muscles. After receiving my injections, I was told the usual to wait 2 weeks and come back if you still have movement, etc, for a touch up. at the 2 week mark i still had full-movement it was as if nothing was done at all. I immediately went in, and she concured, that i needed more injected. she basically re-did my forehead and either side of my crows feet, and tried to charge me again for the service i had already paid for. this place charges per-area not per unit, and since she clearly didn't put enough units the first time, that is on them, not me to pay for the area a second time when no results were yielded the first time. They finally came to their senses and said you're right. I got the same info to wait 2 weeks and to come back if it still wasn't right. well today is the 2 week mark, i had an appointment today to go back and have her fix the area AGAIN for a third fucking time as it still has movement in certain spots, meaning for a second time she either diluted the product to much, didn't inject it correctly, or didn't inject the proper muscles or put enough. I got a call this morning from them prior to my appointment telling me that if Leslie has to inject any more units, that i will be charged $12 per unit... on an area i had already paid for, which she cant seem to get right. when this was said. i told them before i give them anymore money, I'll go somewhere else.Leslie and Abbasi Derm, if you are going to charge per area, then you certainly cant charge the same client per unit, that's a way to make double money on a procedure that was already paid for by one of your hired PA that clearly cant do injectables correctly the first 2 times. Clearly Leslie needs more training on how to administer/ inject injectables.
Visit with Dr was great! I arrived on time, but unfortunately waited 15-20minutes. Staff is friendly....although as I waited he lobby, they were extremely loud. I felt as if I was in a highschool cafeteria or hallway. Just seemed very unprofessional & another patient sitting near me also made a comment “maybe they should lower their voices & close their glass doors”. This wasn’t the 1st time either, whenever I call it sounds like a party in the background!
Took my 11 year old daughter here and the doctor made her cry making insensitive comments about her acne and appearance. Appalling behavior, I sure hope no one hurts and traumatizes your children like you did mine "Dr" Abbasi! Don't step foot in this Craig's list level doctors office.
This place is a joke!! They made my issue far worse and harassed me for payment! Like I should pay them for the nightmare they caused me. Now almost two years later they put my $38 account in some collectors hands for them to now start harassing me again. This office and Doctor are disgusting and horrible excuses for human beings. I will be suing the collector and this doctor immediately.
My experience has been nothing but great here. The front desk staff is always very nice and willing to help out. I see the nurse practitioner Aimee here and she is amazing. She takes time to listen and give you proper care. I would recommend this place to anyone!
did biopsy of rash, was not personable, vague when informed of onset of rash, did not receive a diagnosis, had placed multiple phone calls as well as visit to get result, gave me a fancy word for unspecified skin rash, charged exuberant amount of money and did not treat, rash was found to be a rash due to HYPERthroid, staff not very helpful, seem to be more enthused over cosmetic dermatology
Fast, courteous, very clean. Explained everything well. Does not push for follow up unless necesary
I have been to multiple dermatologists, including the University of Michigan. Dr. Abbasi is by far the most helpful and knowledgeable doctor I have seen. He helped me with acne that I have been suffering from for 15 years. Thank you Dr. Abbasi, you're great!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
