The staff is so amazing each person sticks out to me for I see something special they bring to the medical industry. That is rare hard to find . I love them all it takes a team to accomplish what they do in life . They are good at there jobs but amazing with patients satisfaction. They want to help us all and that’s impressive and hard to find. Thank u select specialty hospital! With out u I would have gave up now I can live thank u again

Terrible. There are a handful of the nurses that actually cared the rest come once every 3 hours to do checks or dispense meds. Wound care is a joke, they don't care until its serious. Very reactive throughout the entire staff. Kelly in insurance or whatever he job is to monitor days and next steps is a complete joke. picks and choses who has money and who doesn't, gets an attitude if you choose a different facility than she recommends, like what. Are u getting kickbacks, don't offer me choices only to get upset once i choose. the situation in itself is very difficult to deal with then add in careless people and lack of care I would 100% not recommend this facility to anyone.

Hello well 6 days later I have to say things that happen to me are ridiculous . I reported a aide for having a smart mouth toward me but they were acting funny a day or two before then. What surprised me so much and had me in utter disbelief was the things some nurses and aide let come out their mouths. WOW!!! I wonder who was in charge of them!!! Nothing is better and i had said to the unit Manager i don't want any backlash from anyone. He said to let him know but I saw that it was horrible each day. If I'm even writing this it is bad because I don't say bad things unless you bother me first. I was a great patient because my mom and dad taught me to be nice to people. I didn't bother anyway. I only rang when I the bedpan and my norco which they said it not scheduled so I had to call for it. OH my the attitude and looks on their faces is two awful. Today one aide or nurse said when I was on the phone with insurance lady checking with her about homecare because I don't want to no nursing facilities she said go home Karen we can't wait til u leave. I heard many things about me out in hallways. They want to take care of me. Ok they need to go to walmart and work. That's how I kn̈ow something was said that I told on her. She was not professional and she was rude. RAFAEL-RN, TRISH RN, SALLY RN and the other nice nurses I truly appreciate you all. Therapy- I told 6 of you that i have health issues- neuropathy in right arm and leg since 2009. Scoliosis since I was 12. Degenerative disc disease since 2012. Osteoarthritis in neck, spine, hips, knees, right ankle, and feet. I also have Plantar facilities in both feet since 2018. These issues prevent me from walking to far, bending over, even moving. So when i tell you that I can't sit pass 30 minutes, believe me.!!! Don't tell me you I have to sit for two hours. Their job is to try to rehabilitate some people and know when you can't do it. You are not here to push people past what they know they can do . You can't cure or reversed people health issues. So listen to the patient please they know their bodies more than you do. Don't tell them what they have to do or try to punish them if they don't perform any therapy activities. It is their right to refused. Your job is to document so you have your proof that came and tried. Let the Nurse know. Let your boss know and your work is done. I direct this to Susan and the lady who came to my room on January 23rd. Respiratory has been so professional and helpful. Case Managers have been helpful and caring. Thanks. Remember the Patients comes first. Thank you

If the great staff was so fantastic. If they were not able to help me I would have died. Bonnie the wound care nurse was outstanding and kim,tia.laure are angels on earth. Thank you for all of them.

The ÇNA'S TIA AND CHANEE' WERE SO PROFESSIONAL, KIND AN̈D CARING. WOW! I WAS NERVOUS BUT FELT RELIEVED AFTER THEY SHOWED ME EMPATHY AND COMPASSION!!! The RN'S- TRISH, SALLY, RAFAEL-RN, SORRY I FORGOT THE NAME THE OTHER RN . TRISH WAS PROFESSIONAL AND HAD ME LAUGHING HER WHOLE SHIFT. WONDERFUL. RAFAEL-RN WAS KIND, PROFESSIONAL AND ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HIS FACE . SALLY-RN WAS PROFESSIONAL,KIND AN̈D CARING AS WELL OF THE REST OF THE TEAM. CASE MANAGER WAS WARM AND CARING. THERAPY TEAM- WAS PROFESSIONAL AND KIND. SUSAN AND CHELSEA WERE SO FUNNY. THANKS! FROM MY HEART TO ALL ON MY TEAM CARING FOR ME!!! THE IV NURSE ANGELA WAS PROFESSIONAL, FUNNY AND PERFORMED HER JOB EXCELLENTLY. THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF- LILIANA AND THE YOUNG MAN WHO CLEANED MY ROOM ON 01/16/25 SHOWN ME KINDNESS. SHE ASKED ME HOW I WAS DOING ? LILIANA WAS KIND AND SWEETS. THEY PERFORMED THEIR SUBPERLY. THANK ALL OF YOU. OH THE CNA WHO HAD ME THE EVENING OF FRIDAY EVENING INTO SATURDAY MORNING WAS ON HER TOO. THANKS. THE RESPIRATORY WOMAN SORRY I FORGOT YOUR NAME YOU WERE CARING AND COMPASSIONATE THANK YOU. I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE ANYONE OUT SO KUDOS TO EVERYONE.

Margarita is great, very personable and helpful! The rest of the staff has been great though too.

I visited 5 LTAC facilities in the metro Detroit Area, My main concern was the care my father was to receive. We had previously been in another Ltac were my dad had a very hard time, the lack of doctor involvement and structure forced my dad back to ICU, after he was ready for Ltac again, I knew the decision I made would be the difference between my dad getting better or not. After I did my due diligence and visited numerous Ltac locations around SE Michigan, I found Select Specialty Hospital located in Wyandotte, as I entered the 8th floor, I was immediately greeted by a nurse passing by, as I asked for a manager to talk to, thats were I met the Charge Nurse Nick. Nick and I talked, and the more questions I asked and he answered I knew, this may be the place to bring my dad. We'll it's been 2 weeks or so and my dad is improving, comfortable and on his way to recovery. What stands out the most for me: 1)Doctors are seen everyday 2)Pharmacy located on the same floor 3)Nursing Staff highly skilled 4)Support Staff always ready to Help 5)Clean environment for healing 6)The ability to ask questions and get answers. 7)The CEO of the company gave me his direct phone to voice any concerns! ( This speaks volumes!) I happy that my dad is getting the care he deserves! Thank you Select Specialty Hospital!

All the doctors nurses and cna and also the cleaning staff have been knowledgeable caring explaining different procedures and taking excellent care of my husband I'm truly thankful for all your help
