Nelson Family Dental's Online Review Report Card

Absolutely NOT recommended! Worst experience with office management. Behind those fake sweet talks and smiles…….just hope that you will never have any issues with them! They will jump in your throat in the midst of your sentence and talk over you, then when you try again after they finished interrupting you with their pushy attitude, they would talk over you again before you even have a chance to bring your point across until you loses your patience then they accuse you of not being reasonable and for that, they will abruptly hang up on you! Read other’s reviews here and you will see that Dawn, the office manager, has several other complaints of extreme rude and disrespectful to people even with the owner responded with a promise that lessons had learned! but, obviously not! So after I got hung up, I went to the office and requested to speak to the office manager. After a long wait, she came to the lobby and the first thing she said was she invited me to go out to the parking lot because she didn’t want her boss to know, I insisted to talk inside the business, she then refused to talk to me, I then requested for her boss, she told me her boss doesn’t have time to talk to me, I said I will wait until he has time to talk to me, she then threatened me that she will calls the cops if I stayed and wait. For that, I challenged her to call the police, they realized that they cannot keep their boss hiding that’s then her boss came out to get my statement of complaint. Afterwards, he acknowledged my complaint then thanked me without an apology. This business is allowing her to get ways out of control! Past reviews (1) Was referred to this dental office by another dentist. Office manager was not helpful and extremely rude when I asked about what was going to be billed. I asked if insurance was covering a procedure and was lied to. If this was the last dentist on Earth, I would probably choose to sip food out of a straw. (2) Dawn is sooo rude and I should have listen to others and READ REVIEWS regarding this place... Went in to get a cavity filled and he said he needed to do a root-canal.. When doctor told dental assistant that he was going to do a root canal she answered "You know how to do that"?.. Also make sure you check your bill as they will try and charge your insurance more... Thanks for your response, if you said I insulted your staff then can I ask why the whole time you and I had that face to face conversation at your business and you never once accused me of such? But now on this page? Twisting the facts in your response to this review only looks good here but, will not solve your on going problem with your office staff, in actuality, you are sending them the signal that it’s totally acceptable to be rude, disrespectful, loud, and aggressive to anyone who disagree with their pushy, dominating, demanding attitude on the phone and abruptly, angrily hang up the phone in people’s face! You must understand that your problems will continue to persist when you keep finding and making excuses to condone your employee’s behavior. Are you saying just because she work hard and under lot of stress so you’re giving her the right to take her frustrations on your customers? And if she can do that to your customers then I am sure she is doing the same to her coworkers. Essentially you, as an employer, are the problem, because whenever you are condoning one, you are condemning the rest of other employees to suffering. Rude, aggressive are the behavior of a bully. A bully is a depressed, unhappy, angry person. This individual is crying for help, a responsible, caring employer would have gotten help for this individual employee long ago. It’s better get her the help she needs than to continue coddling her! It will be good for her coworkers and for your business. Thanks for your offer but I will decline. I will never again want anything to do with your people or your business. I wish you well my friend.

I have always been scared of dentists but my experience with Dr. Wes at Nelson Family Dentistry was everything I hoped for. He pulled out my teeth and I received dentures and I haven’t had one day of trouble. He was kind and calm. He was so friendly so I was immediately at ease. I am almost 4 Months in with the dentures and still no problems. The ladies in the front were also wonderful to me. ❤️

When you make a call to the office with any issues, you had better let them talk or they will hang up on you! You can't beat Nelson Family Dental. They rock. You can tell everybody there loves what they do and who they do it with. Highly recommend :)

Nelson family dental!!! I cannot say enough good tings about the entire staff here! They take Medicaid and treat me like a top priority. They have gone above and beyond to make sure my dental needs are taken care of. I feel like a queen with every visit. I’ve recommended them to over 20 people with dental needs. My whole family goes to them and we LOVE Dr. Wes. Shout out Wes ! You are the greatest! I have never in my life had a dentist as competent, caring and knowledgeable as you! You got a patient for life! ! And I adore your team as well, great job guys!!!! Shout out to Dawn! Girl you have been top notch when it comes to any issue I’ve had with my teeth , you bring a joy to patient care and I feel genuinely cared about by the team there, you guys bring a beautiful smile to my face. Literally :-) also shout out to the front desk staff! You guys are on point and so enjoyable to talk to! Five stars

Just came in for the first time today. The whole staff was incredibly welcoming and made me feel so comfortable through the whole process of my appointment, which I was very nervous for. Highly recommend them!

I can't say enough good things about Nelson Family Dental. We often see Dr. Matt who is the best, but their entire staff has been incredible. Every time! My 10 year old daughter has had a number of dental issues so we are in frequently for fillings, crowns, xrays, etc. She LOVES to go see them...loves it! They work miracles. No one else is better!

All I can say is that I wish Matt Nelson was my dentist growing up! He is so good at engaging the kids in a fun, yet efficient way that they almost seem to forget he's drilling holes in their teeth ;) They use terms that my kids can understand and aren't afraid of, while also explaining what they are doing so well! My daughter's favorite part of her filling (yes, you read that right) was the "space mask" she got to wear. The office staff is so friendly and kind, the hygienists are so good with kids and after coming here for a year and a half, I wouldn't choose another dentist! You guys are amazing! Thank you for all that you do!

Stellar group of professionals ~!!! Dawn and office staff most welcoming and when I needed emergency work done - they got me in right away and was taken care of - Great ffolks At Nelson Dental and grateful for their work!
