List of Solt Family Dental's Reviews
Over $1000 for three fillings. I’ve been here three times, got three fillings and one set of X-rays. The actual doctor is very nice, easy to talk to, and gives you confidence. The rest of the staff is rude, unqualified, and untrained. While in the chair you will only have brand new students working on you so be prepared to choke, hold your breath, stabbed, have to get re numbed several times because they put it on the wrong side of mouth then wrong tooth then finally the right tooth. While waiting I could hear the person about to do my filling say she’s only ever done one yesterday and it was by herself no assistant. They are short staffed and hiring anyone they can without the proper training. Each time I’ve left in tears over how much they charged me. The people who bill you have no idea what they are talking about and spit numbers out just so they have a response to the question. I was uncomfortable among the two girls prepping me they made it an awkward experience. Dr Solt I’m sorry but you need to hire different staff or do a better job training them behind the curtain not right there in the middle of a procedure. I won’t be coming back because of the experience your staff gave me today.
Well done
Really disappointed with this office. I have bringing my son here for years, and the dental assistants have always been wonderful. So, I've tolerated the rude staff, and the incompetent billing/scheduling issues. I have tried to be understanding. I let it go that they highly recommended Shannon Orthodontics. I didn't hold it against them that we contracted Covid because they didn't deny service to an obviously sick unmasked patient. I overlooked that they didn't call us to cancel appointments when the pandemic shut everything down. However, their scheduling issues are only getting worse. If you want your child to be seen by a dentist twice a year, go somewhere else. As a courtesy, I canceled an appointment because my son was sick. They rescheduled it for 7 MONTHS later. My son was suppose to have an appointment Wednesday. Monday, after 5:30pm (over an hour after the dentist's office is closed) a woman, who did not give her name, called me from this office, insisting there was an issue with the insurance. I asked her to double check, and she arrogantly refused. I asked about rescheduling, and she claimed the office was booked until June! She also told me that if I kept the appointment I would need to pay cash (almost $300) before my son would be seen. She was so rude, and the entire thing didn't make sense. They've been billing this same insurance for years, and still haven't figured out how to submit the bill correctly. It frequently gets denied because they're doing something wrong. Each time, someone from this office tries to blame me. She had zero empathy that I would have to cancel the appointment and my little boy wouldn't get to go to the dentist. She just kept snidely repeating "well, what do you expect ME to do CHEYENNE?" while refusing to recheck the insurance. When I told her that I would need to cancel and find a new provider, she threatened to put a note in his records that I cancelled appointments (which could deter a new office from accepting my son as a patient), then I got upset and started crying, and she mocked me and stated that was also going in his records. After I got off of the phone, I double checked my insurance, and the coverage is active. The dental assistants were wonderful, but it doesn't matter if I can't actually take my son to an appointment because the billing department is a mess. It was so odd that I received a phone call after their business hours, that I thought it might just be one bad employee trying to pull a double-billing scam and pocketing cash, so I made a call to the dentist's phone number to alert him of the situation. *At about 8:30am, Dr. Solt returned my phone call. (He called me this morning, before the professional sounding response was posted.) He did not have empathy. He was livid that I called his cell number (at 7:30pm). He claimed that he spoke to his staff, and that they claim that I caused some sort of scene in their office, screaming and swearing at the front desk? This never happened. Also, due to their inept scheduling, we haven't been in his office since November 2022. He stated that due to this event (that supposedly happened over a year ago), they are no longer willing to see my son as a patient. Ok, if he really believes this happened, why didn't he address the issue then? Any professional, concerned about his staff and clients, would have contacted security/police, and banned a parent, who was behaving in this way, from the premises. While the incident I'm being accused of never happened, it implies that this office is ok with patients/parents acting inappropriately, as long as they get money, and that makes this office sound like a very unsafe place.
First time at Dr Solt office. Everyone in the office was very friendly. I felt very comfortable with Dr Solt. My hygienist did a thorough job. All an all it was a great first visit!
My 4yr old had his first dental appt here and they treated him like a king! The whole staff is super friendly and lovely. I loved the way the Dr chatted with him to get to know each other and put sunglasses on him for the bright lights. Dr. explained everything to him and showed him the tools before he fixed the cavity. My son was relaxed and smiling through it all!
Love the staff and Dr.Solt. It's a very happy and personable evironment.
Solt family dental is the best dentist I have ever been to. They are so nice and caring. Going to the dentist is terrifying to me but I am at ease when I go there.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
