Very disappointed I received a message today dr couldn’t make the appointment I made month and a half ago this week. Said she would “accommodate me” by “working me in” a day or two sooner than my long awaited appointment on a day/time which neither time “worked” for me. I chose the time of day for a reason. She said I could make a later appointment but it would be quite a ways out. Nice. I’m finding someone else. Made me feel like I’m not worth the time after waiting so long to get in. I did my part. Plenty of other neurologists out there. I guess what disappointed me the most was how she tried to make it sound like she was doing me a favor. Very dissatisfied.

Was recently in St. Joe's for stroke like symtoms. Ct scan and MRI was not showing anything. Her analysis of me was pretty much she didn't know what caused problem. A lot of maybes, but no answers. Didn't feel like she was interested in hearing me. I am 65 and felt not important.

My mother and I were just in to see Amanda this week. This visit and the earlier one were extremely short . Her judgmenent of my mother and the diagnosis was based on less than one hour between both visits and the results of a test that my mother did not care to do well on...her husband (my father died in December). I tried to explain that my mother is grieving and seeking attention, but Amanda diagnosed my mother with dymentia. Very short sighted and very ignorant.

She is so kind and helpful. She spends a lot of time with me answering question. She found the cause of my symptoms when the problem was missed by other doctors. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Rabquer spends a lot of time with her patients answering questions in person and over the phone. I don't think that I would get that level of personal care from many other doctors.
