Doctor Flewelling was great! I believe like most men I was a bit nervous of having a vasectomy. Aside from a little discomfort, it wasn't difficult at all. Doctor flewelling talked to me mostly about life, and I was done before I knew it. I would recommend this guy to anyone looking to get a vasectomy. Thanks again Doc!!

Dr Flewelling was a Godsend . my urologist retired and i am new to this area. He took me in as an emergency surgery transferred from another St Josephs hospital. He was so very kind and gave me all the time i needed to answer my questions. I had bad anxiety and had so much pain with a huge kidney stone and he was so very soothing . He and the entire staff in Ann Arbor were the best . i am blessed by this experience . i highly recommend this dr , he is excellent and i am grateful.

I met with Dr. Flewelling via zoom since I live out of the area. He was very prepared looking at my previous records and did not rush through our time together. He is very knowledgeable and is a good listener. I feel I'm in good hands.

I have seen Dr. Flewelling a few times since I was diagnosed with a bladder stone and was referred to IHA Urology at the Reichert Building/St. Joe, Ypsilanti. He showed me the xray, was very informative, and friendly. I'm a senior woman and felt a little bit worried about having a male urologist, but I did not get a creepy feeling at all. He works with interns who sit in and take minutes of the visits so his full attention is on the patient. A nurse/physician's assistant takes samples and does an ultra sound to make sure you're emptying your bladder. The department is full of patients, but nobody acted rushed. Dr. F. removed the bladderstone under general anesthesia and has had me in for yearly checkups for kidney stones since then. I have no problem with this. Great department, friendly from reception to checkout, and especially where it really counts, with the professional healthcare providers in the offfice. Thanks, all.

For several years I had blood results which were out of normal. Many tests were done without finding a root cause. Dr. Flewelling suggested to use UroNav technique which provided me with early detection. He also helped me to fight with insurance which did not want to pay for MRI, and proceed with following treatment. Communication with Dr. Flewelling is always easy and very informative, which was very critical in my case.

5 years ago after a chest xray for possible pneumonia, a growth was noticed on my right kidney. My primary Dr sent me to Dr Flewelling. He made me feel comfortable and knowledgeable about surgery to remove the kidney. Did the surgery with the Da Vinci robot and as he said, "Bagged it sealed the bag and got it gone!" . He is very caring and yet professional, tells it like it is in terms you can understand and never talks down to you..and has great sense of humor! I give him 10 stars out of 5.
