Don’t waste your time with this guy. He never listened to me and it almost cost me my life. I know more about my RA than he ever tried to know. His appearance is very non professional. As is his attitude. He does not fill out paperwork properly (FMLA) and, in my opinion, doesn’t really care.

I saw this doctor over the course of *many* years. Diagnosed with two conditions by him. All diagnostic tests came back normal, was only diagnosed based on differential diagnosis w/ steroids. In the many years of seeing this doctor, he never ran another test or would even possibly consider that he misdiagnosed me. I didn't realize that that isn't actually normal for a rheumatologist who has diagnosed someone-- learned from other medical professionals that tests are typically run yearly. At final appointment with him I had carefully documented all of my severely worsening symptoms and presented them to him. Exercise is recommended for one of the issues I had diagnosed, and I had been very active up until the point where I was literally in too much pain to continue working out. His response to that was "huh, that's weird and shouldn't happen. You need to keep exercising." He was incredibly dismissive, said there was absolutely nothing he could do to help me (note, again, that over the course of many years tests were only ran one time, only one medication per condition was tried, etc.) I told him I felt as though he wasn't taking me seriously, and he said he didn't know why I would feel that way. If possible, I strongly urge you to seek out a different specialist, especially if you have a bit of a hard time advocating for yourself.

I saw Dr. Wise in 2018. He refused to look "outside the box" into unusual causes of my problems, and even though my symptoms strongly suggested an autoimmune disorder, he flat out would not even consider it. Now it's 3 years later and my PCP forgot I even saw a Rheumatologist, and told me I need to see one because of my symptoms! Moral of my story- I would do your research and look elsewhere.

I saw Dr. Wise in 2018. He did a very poor evaluation in my opinion. Since one lab was negative, he chose to not do more work up despite my many symptoms suggestive of an autoimmune disorder. 3 yrs later and I'm still suffering, still don't have answers, and looking to find a GOOD Rheumatologist. He isn't!

One of the best Doctors out there! Was able to help me after !5! other Doctors had no idea what was going on with my health! He’s smart and compassionate!

This doctor seemed to shut down when I told him I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatique syndrom. He said he does not treat those things. I believe he does not believe these are real illnesses. When I told him I also have had a sleep study and have sleep apnea he told me ..now that a really problem. Then told me I should see a sleep specialist for that. So if you are seeking medical help for fibromyalgia or fatique syndrom don't waste your time. I waited months for this appointment only to find out he doesn't believe or treat these illnesses. I think he should advertise if you have these problems to seek help from someone else. He was very unprofessional in everyway, including his appearance. He looked like he had a rough night and just rolled out of bed and rushed in to work. Both shoes untied , crumpled clothes and ripped pants .

I have been going here for a year now. I do think pain is the priority with this doctor. However functional use of affected joints doesn't seem to matter. The fatigue depression and joint flexibility seems to get dismissed as not RA affiliated. I am currently seeking a new doctor.

I have received the worst care from this doctor and his staff. The doctor appears unconcerned about my health issues. His staff never returns calls and they are not very friendly at all. I will not return to his office.

I just had my 1st appt with Dr. Wise and I really liked him. He was very knowledgable and took time to listen to my concerns, and answered all of my questions too. He seems like a genuinely nice person and down to earth, which is a huge plus. The nurse who works with him is also very nice and helpful. -Trace Alam
