Hg Wellness Warriors's Online Review Report Card

It has been a year of learning since beginning HG Wellness Warriors. I started the program without supplements. I lost weight slowly, but I'm keeping it off, have more energy, and feel healthier. My liver test numbers have come down as has my A1C. The program, and especially the team of Mallory and Mackenzie, takes it step by step. I never felt judged, only encouraged. The non-restrictive attitude toward eating coupled with the science of food, and habit building process has really made a difference in my outlook. I've tried foods that I've always "hated." Some, I really enjoy now, others I limit. Having access to such motivating, educated people has really helped this journey.

There comes a time when you have to be stronger than the excuses you continue to make for yourself. I wanted the "Old" me back. The "Me" that never hesitated to take on a challenge or try something new. I began making changes in my diet on my own and started Optifast in early September. Currently I am down roughly 45lbs. The process is not easy but is definitely achievable if you go in with an open mindset in place. It takes both dedication and personal strength to succeed. Focusing on the positive outcome has helped me throughout this process. When you begin noticing that your clothes are a bit to big , your feeling better about yourself and MOST of all your "Aches & Pains" have diminished (Fantastic feeling) You find that urge to keep pushing forward. Weekly support mtgs & monitoring help hold you accountable. I'm not perfect & have my cheat days but I know Im Headed in the right direction. The Wellness team & group of providers are a great support system! Believe in the person you want to become & make it happen. It's not about being perfect, its about the effort you are willing to put in to better both yourself and your health. I highly recommend the Wellness Program :)

Have been in the program a year and recommend it highly! I’ve learned a lot about whole food plant based nutrition, lost weight slowly in a way that I think will be sustainable. The HG team has been very supportive, always available and a great cheering team. The support groups have been informative and really fun to meet others in my same boat. Even though I’m not at the end of my journey I feel so much better, it’s been worth every penny and very good value for the money

The Team at Huron Gastro is the B.E.S.T!!! I was very hesitant to join the program but once I got in and taking charge of my health, I was able to get my health back via the weight loss program. The team is extremely knowledgeable, ultra supportive and eager to help with any hurdles you may face. If you are looking for a true program that resets the lifestyle choices you make towards food and how it pertains to your overall health, look no further. This program is not a "Diet", it is not a "Calorie Counter", it is not "Portion Control". What it is, is an education. Take this for what it is, I lost over 70 lbs in 6 months and I feel great! My whole life I have struggled with not only my weight but good nutrition, and good health. Not wanting to have surgery or take pills to lose the weight. My doctor always said eat right and don't worry. I didn't know how to eat right. I knew I needed a lot of education, wanted to have a pain free stomach, energy, and a new veiw on what is healthy. I'm learning, with the help of all these smart caring people at HG Wellness Warriors!! Not only do I have to commit, but this entire team is committed to seeing me seceed!
