Great care from the whole team. Dr Adler and Dr. Soofi were wonderful. Highly recommend this practice.

Long story short, Huron Gastro and their team forever changed mine and my wife's life. I went in for a routine colonoscopy (I was late because GPS took me to the wrong place but they were still so nice and told me not to worry about it) and was telling the nurse how I had lost 20+ pounds and at that moment Dr. Gunaratnam (Dr. G) walked in and mentioned that they have a Wellness Program and asked if I wanted to talk to the nurse afterwards. I said absolutely as I was looking for a better diet than the Keto I was on. That was the extent of our conversation, and come to find out later Dr. G heads the program. There was no pressure at all from anyone, their goal is to help people live happier, healthier lives and are there to support you along the way. Since I started the Wellness Program I've lost over 100 pounds, did a half marathon and am on a 100% Plant Based diet, no longer on a high dosed blood pressure med or water pill. Food has never tasted better. I couldn't be happier than I am now. I never cooked before but now my wife and I cook for an hour or two on a weekend day preparing meals for the week. I can't thank the team at Huron Gastro enough for all that they have done for me and my wife.Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I had a colonoscopy in August this year. The experience was great. I appreciate the timeliness and in and out of the whole experience, very efficient and professional staff. The billing was a problem for blue cross which allows one colonoscopy a year on my plan. I had a ten year and 5 yr this time. They were initially not covering it as they said I had a diagnosis, which I have no history in family and had polyps the first time but no cancer or any problems. This could have affected all of my future colonoscopies, requiring me to pay. I talked to Cindy in billing at Huron Gastro and what a helpful, professional and willing to listen person! She even reached back out to me a day later when I thought I was just going to have to pay from here on out. She had talked to others in her office and was willing to talk to my blue cross rep on the phone! They spoke and got the problem straightened out on blue cross’s end and now they are covered! Cindy went far beyond the normal effort of any billing person I have ever spoke to. Huron Gastro should hang on to this gem!

The Wellness Warriors program is the BOMB! I was feeling completely hopeless about losing weight and thought I had no choice but to enter my golden years FAT. The program works, gives you hope and your life back and educates you to maintain the weight loss. One year down and still going strong!!! Thank you Wellness Warriors.

What a wonderful experience! This was my first visit with Huron Gastro after being told by my usual provider that I would have to wait until next year for an EGD. They were able to get me in promptly for the severe symptoms I was having and Dr. Corsello was able to give me answers for what I had been experiencing. Dr. Corsello has an amazing bedside manner and I couldn't be more appreciative of his expertise and great care provided. The entire staff from check-in, to the nurse, anesthesiologist, and techs and aides were all very warm and friendly and had me laughing before and after the procedure. Thank you!!

Would leave a 0 if possible. Tried to get a colonoscopy done and triple checked when scheduling that they would bill it as preventative so my insurance covered it 100%. I told them when booking about my family history of colon cancer and they said that they would bill as preventative. Fast forward to the Friday before the appointment (on monday) I get a call from the office that they don't have my insurance on file and I was set to pay cash. Turns out when they took my insurance they mixed up a D with a B, easy mistake. They correct it, and by chance I decide to ask how they are billing it again and she informed me that since there's a family history they will always bill it as diagnostic. That then means instead of my insurance covering 100% ill be paying about $1600 (give or take a couple hundred). After asking multiple times scheduling that it's preventative, now all of the sudden I'm told there's no way it could ever be preventative. So I canceled the appointment (late Friday afternoon and a 6 am Monday appointment) because I had no time to figure out my options. The following Monday my wife called and rescheduled the appointment for later in the month, deciding to bite the bullet on the cost. After going through prep all of yesterday I look at my email to get the address and realize they scheduled it with a different provider without ever telling us, and that provider does not show up as being covered through my insurance. (Independence blue cross). Id rather go through prep again than deal with the aftermath that would be causef by their billing department.

I felt like a queen! Right from checking in and throughout the entire procedure I felt as though I was the only person they had to care for! Every single person from the check in lady to the recovery nurse was outstanding! My nurse was so caring and friendly, the anesthesiologist was compassionate, the doctor was extremely informative and I trusted I was in good hands!In these times when it's really difficult to find good caring compassionate individuals, it certainly was a great relief to have this group on my side!Thank you to an amazing team!

Watch out! They do no thorough pre-screening for the colonoscopy procedure. While I was there for mine, three unfortunate candidates who were all prepped and pre-tested for COVID found out that they had pre-existing conditions that made the HG doctors unwilling to do the procedure. They were told that the HG procedure equipment was not equipped for any, any type of emergency. Those three people were told to go to St. Joes', go thru the prep and COVID screening again -- at some undetermined future time. Furthermore, the HG docs were completely unsympathetic to the difficult situation that they caused their patients.

Horrible. Get out of the ER and am instructed to make an appointment with them ASAP as I’m currently in severe pain. Despite this, they try to get me to settle on waiting 3 months to see someone. What a joke.
