Kellogg Eye Center - Huron River Drive's Online Review Report Card

I had the greatest experience at this place! It was by far the best appointment I've ever been to; everything from the front desk to the last person I saw at the desk was incredibly kind, clear with instructions, and welcoming. The assistant and Dr. Bass were incredibly friendly while also helping me get the right contacts. Dr. Bass was really knowledgable and approachable, making sure that I knew everything about the contacts I was getting and answered all my answers without feeling rushed at all. She was incredibly patient-centered - she asked about affordability when weighing options for which contacts to wear and I sincerely appreciated that because it felt like a patient-clinician shared decision making moment. It was my first time here and it thoroughly made my day - who would've thought an eye appointment could make your day!

very bad experience. not patient at all. these so called high tier doctors want you get out their way in a second. We have seen Michigan medicine optometry and eye doctor. They gave me the same feeling. I recommend Huron Ophthalmology eye center from my own experience. The doctor at Huron Ophthalmology answered all my questions. Don't waste your time and money at Michigan Medicine.

Everytime i come here the staff at the check in they have attitudes and very rude i won't be coming to this one anymore i will go to the one in Ann Arbor

Terrible!. They make sure your on time or they will not see you, But you have to wait for over an hour for the doctor. I was he first patient of the day. I waited for over an hour. Went to front desk and said I have to leave, I had to get to work. She said Dr. will be with you in one minute. I left without seeing the doctor...... oh I did see him in the parking lot just getting out of his car. REALLY. That's how they treat their patients. No thank you. There are plenty of Doctors out there. Don't waste your time.

l was so pleased with this Kellogg eye clinic. It's so much easier than the Ann Arbor one in that it's small and the ladies that check one in and out are very professional and nice. The person who runs the pre-tests for Dr. Hansen was very nice and thorough! The doctor who took care of me was very impressive...both with his gentle way, but also his knowledge of my problem, Blepharitis. It's extremely hard to get rid of and Dr. Hansen is dedicated to making my life much better by helping me to get it under control and keeping it that way. i'm so impressed with Dr. Hansen and thank him for all that he's doing! doctors and staff there are great.

This place is always late, pediatrics should've have children waiting for over 2 hrs. both times I took my children in 2 weeks. They lied or maybe discrimination about dilation of eyes for darker eyes it takes longer then 30 min. They never even checked they just made us wait 2 hours. And then didn't even want to listen to my concern for my child. This will be my last visit to this place and I encourage anyone else to stay away. Doesn't look to me like they're taking care of their patients very well but they sure want to Bill your insurance.

Terrible. Running nearly an hour late, no communication from staff. They appear to operate under the assumption that all their patients are retired and have nothing else to do. Three patients including myself waited for over 40 minutes. Nobody updated us the entire time I stayed. I did not stick around long enough to find out whether they were ever seen. The entire UM healthcare system is a complete disgrace right now. Patient care is not a priority for them. Huron Opthalmology is right down the road, do not bother with the UM system if you value your time.

Friendly staff and excellent Doctors. This place is great with easy parking. Children's waiting are has no books, toys or pictures on walls very grim and boring area to wait in. We recommend bringing activities to do while you wait for eyes to dilate. The tv is so tiny in the pediatric waiting area and the lights are a bit bright so not the best.
