Dr. Gaither is the first dentist that I have truly trusted and liked. He's always been super honest, easy to talk to, and seems to genuinely care about his clients. I can't recommend enough!
Do not try to set up an appointment for an emergency! I struggled with the way I was treated for years. Never knowing who my dentist was going to be to dentists ignoring complaints. The front desk was always nice when I had double insurance coverage - when I went to one insurer they were snotty. Just don't go there!
I put that I have dental anxiety on my chart. The dentist told me that my teeth were going to start falling apart in the next few years so I should start "talking to my financial planner" about the cost of that.No offer to help me come up with a treatment plan, no regard for my anxiety and no bedside manner. It's taken me years to work up the courage to go back to a dentist, and it won't ever be park dental again.P.S. none of my teeth have fallen apart.
Dr. TerEick has been great to our family of four--two children on their kid-only Saturdays, two adults--for basic cleanings/x-rays. I like that they don't seem to be a fill-it, drill-it, & bill-it like our last place--I think so far we've only had one cavity among us so we're on a good streak. Location is centrally located with plenty of parking. Comfortable, clean waiting room and pleasant exam rooms. Staff has always been very friendly and we've been coming there for almost three years now so I doubt it's a fluke. The free electric toothbrushes we received as a welcome gift are still going strong--all four of us got our own! I also really like that the place isn't over-the-top decorated or fancy because that means we're paying a value price for care, not an inflated rate for their lobby. They haven't even pestered me to get my last two amalgam fillings replaced--and my previous dentist was on a mission to drill every time I went in--the only pestering I get at Park so far has been to use soft picks in addition to flossing daily and I can deal with that since it's for my gums' health.
Everyone makes me feel incredibly comfortable and I've experienced nothing but wonderful care.
Probably the best dental care I have experienced in my 68 years. Dr Lutterman has kept me repaired many times over the last 20 years. Highly recommend
If you already hate the dentist youll REALLY hate it here. Went in for a regular cleaning and the older woman flossing my teeth PULLED OUT MY PERMANENT RETAINER!!! When Dr. Katz walked in I was hopeful that I would be able to either get it fixed at no cost or be refunded for the amount of the cost of a permanent retainer ($100 per tooth). But NO. She stated that it was my fault and I left the office in tears. Later received a $20 Target gift card....like....thanks? I wouldve much rather received an $800 gift card to the orthodontist I had to see the next day. I assured them my family & I (who have been coming here for years) would never return. Also was told Have you ever heard of ibueprofen? when I asked about the status of my wisdom teeth. Dont go if you like your teeth.
My first experience going here went very well. I came in for a simple cleaning/x-rays/routine exam, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful, and were happy to answer any questions I had for them.Unfortunately, it seems like it is very difficult to book an appointment there. I used their online booking again try get another routine checkup a year latter, and was sent an email that they were completely full for 4 full months, which is quite ridiculous for primary dental care.
I have been going to Park Dental - Roseville for quite a while now (at least 10 years). My initial visit was an urgent visit but I was treated wonderfully. Problem was solved & I left feeling much better and happy and have been going there ever since. Even though I now live in Maplewood, I will still be going to Park Dental in Roseville. Reason is because the staff (especially Kate), my Dentist and Hygenist staff are all just so wonderful. I am always treated so special. I feel very welcome, I receive great advice, ask many questions & get great informative answers. I would personally recommend Park Drntal very highly.
Dr is very good at explaining things. Staff. Is friendly and makes sure youre comfortable. Office is clean and up to date. The hygienists do an excellent job.
Extremely unethical and poor level of care. Avoid at all costs. My dad had a filling done here by an inexperienced dentist that fell out within a day, and the dentist also shaved down his tooth which caused sensitivity. The practice manager Nancy actualy claimed this never happened because my dad 'isn't a dentist.' You don't need to be a dentist to feel your tooth being filed down and see that it's shorter. They make simple mistakes here and avoid any and all responsibility. Very unethically run office
Dentists are rude and everyone in the office is rude. Highly recommend going to any park dental but this one! My family will not come back. I was talking to other people in the waiting room. They feel the same way, the only reason they come to this one its conveniently located.
Extremely unethical and poor level of care. Avoid at all costs. My dad had a filling done here by an inexperienced dentist Dr. Litzenberg that fell out within a day, and the dentist also shaved down his tooth which caused sensitivity. The practice manager Nancy actualy claimed this never happened because my dad isnt a dentist. You dont need to be a dentist to feel your tooth being filed down and see that its shorter. Right away when she started speaking, she spoke with a angry, raised voice and would barely let me get a word in. They make simple mistakes here and avoid any and all responsibility. Very unethically run office.Check out their responses to all the complaints on BBB and you will get a feel for their attitude. Do a quick google search for dentists in the Roseville area and youll find at least a handful with much better reviews.
Dr. TerEick and staff make going to the Dentist a wonderful experience! Everyone is extremely patient and has a nice calm presence about them. Very happy with the work I've had done here and couldn't ask for better results :D
Dr. TerEick is a wonderful dentist, the staff are friendly.
UPDATED: I had some beef with them about how they handle payments. I freaked out a bit and then they made it right. So I am updating this review from a 1 star when I was RAGING MAD, to 2 stars because they DID piss me off, but fixed the problem after I freaked out on them. Hey, at least hey fixed it, right? Background: My husband had to have a root canal.Shannon the night receptionist is nice. Krista is also very helpful. She took my phone call the other day. Normally I feel rushed off the phone but she was extremely pleasant and helpful. Alex R. Lund, DDS knows what he is doing, good dentist. Small, gentle, steady hands. We switched to him from TerEick. Pamela J. TerEick, DDS rude, rough and did not make him feel comfortable. Made backhanded comments. We switched from her. They ALWAYS take you late. We showed up at 5:45 for a 6:00 pm appointment last night and werent taken until 6:12. The time before that, the appointment was more than 20 minutes late. We unfortunately try to get our appointments before work or after. So when they take us late it reaaaalllly sucks. The assistant helping the dentist at the first appointment was like 100 years old and said things like this is only my 2nd root canal in 7 years! Seriously, the lady said this to my husband, who is terrified of the dentist, as he sat in the chair with metal tools in his mouth. Not the best place but not the worst. Bring your patience.
Great
My family has been to this clinic numerous times. They are so accommodating and helpful. They most recently pulled several of my sons teeth because of over crowding and I thought the dentist was going to cry because he was so thoughtful. Thank you Dr Piermont. His assistant is great and very helpful! On another occasion they got my daughter in to pull a tooth that had lost a filling and was starting to look suspicious. Dr. Lutterman was all about seeing her the next day and his assistant was great. Cleanings are always great and they are always on time and have expanded office hours.Thank you Park Dental
As much as I want to give them a 1 for the letter I just received, my time at Park Dental hasnt always been a bad experience. The dental hygenists that work with my dentist are great and gentle on the teeth. Jacqueline, was amazing at what she did. I dont think she is still there which is their loss because she was really good at what she did and went above and beyond for scheduling and taking care of me as a patient.Appointments are sometimes easy to get and sometimes booked out for months, but they have later hours which helps if you can get in.Receptionist are hot and cold. Most of them are pretty pleasant, some have that attitude to hurry up and get you off the phone.Ive been contemplating switching dentist locations to something close to my home.Well the letter I received today clinches it. I received a letter from Park Dental stating that I did not honor my appointment a few days ago. Hmmm... I did call to cancel with them the night prior and told them that because I was sick and didnt want to infect their staff, I would reschedule. The receptionist never told me that there would be a $69.00 charge for not honoring my appointment. Had I known that, I would have gone in sick. Absolutely ridiculous!I see their point and that they are running a business where time is of the essence, but things come up and people cant make it. Either let the patient know when they are calling in to cancel what thepolicy is and let the patient decide or chalk it up as an opportunity to call someone on a waiting list and them know a slot has just been opened.Receiving a bill stating we are going to charge you $69.00 for a broken appointment is just tacky and poor practice which has pushed me to find a new dentist. Thanks!
