Don't bother to see her if you are overweight. She spent most of the appointment lecturing me on a proper diet and very little time on my knee pain, which was the reason for the appointment. She also said that I shouldn't be taking the anti-inflammatory that an orthopedist prescribed, that I should be taking an OTC medication instead.

Would give a 0 if possible. This Doctor missed obvious signs of heart issues, which eventually led to a major heart attack for a family member. Stay away people

Positive - Dr. Sarpal is a competent health care provider focused on weight control and she provided clear follow up instructions. She is direct with her questions and does not have the soft bedside manner which I am okay with. Negative - I met with her for 2 health concerns (not weight related) and she ended up lecturing me on staying aware of potential weight gain as I get older. My BMI is in the good region. She asked the same questions that were on the questionnaire and her tone was like she doubted my reasons why I made an appointment. I would not recommend her as a general family practice unless you want to discuss weight only.

I saw the low ratings and was a bit concerned. After having a physical with her, I believe they are baseless. While she is more formal and business like than ideal, she is very competent and gave me the time I needed to have my questions answered. I wouldn't hesitate to use her as my regular doctor in the future.

If you are overweight don’t bother coming to Carol for anything unless you want to spend your entire visit talking about what diet she recommends and how out of control your blood pressure is. (124/84, thank you very much.) She refused to acknowledge the issue I was there for because all she saw when she walked into the room was a fat blob. Disgraceful excuse for a provider.

I would like to say something positive but can’t realky think of anything. Dr Sarpals advice was all canned line reading from a TelePrompTer.. (actually she was!) Not very friendly and made me wait for way too long.
