I needed surgery for a Hiatal Hernia with Fundoplication 270 degrees performed robotically. First, all the staff at SGS are kind, considerate and are willing to answer all of your questions and will take as much time as you need to have them answered, whether it be the appointment desk, billing dept., nurse or Dr. Gipson. Second, everything was explained to me what this surgery would entail, the prep for this surgery, the actual surgery and was given diagrams and the recovery for the surgery. Dr. Gipson did an excellent job and there were no surprises after surgery. Also, his nurse June is the best of the best. I've also had 2 previous surgeries/procedures with this group and the experience was the same. I would recommend and actually have recommended this group for any internal issues you may be having.

Excellent surgeon. He cares about his patients and is strait forward. My Uncle has cancer and Dr. Gipson has been so helpful in realistic expectations.

Dr. Gipson is great. He has a wonderful team and has very good bed side manner. He did my bariatric surgery and there were no complications whatsoever. I would say if you are looking at bariatric surgery to give him a call!

Excellent Surgeon, Excellent Post Op Follow Up. Cares about his Patients , awesome Staff and all that work with him - Clinic and Hospital. He will answer all your questions and cares on questions you ask. Just a Phenomenal DR. and I recommend him HIGHLY!!
