Staff was extremely attentive and through
It hurts for me to be writing a review like this, but ever since the new team has taken over customer service has declined badly. I had been a customer at this eye clinic for years, and the workers had always been nice with me. This had been my trusted eye clinic and I loved coming here to pick up my contacts and eye check-ups. They would always accommodate things for me when I reached out to them. I recently called to order a few eye contact samples for a week in which I was previously always given when I called. But when I recently called, the lady on the phone denied. I explained to her that I had previously called before and received samples with no issue at all, she denied and with a mean tone. I told her if a specific worker there I knew personally was there so we could talk about the issue and accommodate something but the lady on the phone told me that She does not work there anymore, in fact she said All of the “Older” workers were all GONE. She said all of that to me in the meanest tone possible. As much as I didn’t want to, I stopped coming to Clarkson Eyecare. Staff were extremely moody and not friendly. Don’t come unless you can put up with the attitude. It is a shame to see that recent reviews have had similar negative experiences, I believe that something has to be done about the team because this keeps happening to others and it’s concerning, behaviors like this will make this clinic lose customers including me. All staff and workers here need to work on becoming better with clients. Because I miss the old team, they were professional and took nothing personally. Please consider in becoming a better team for your clients.
Crap. Doesn't waste your time. They will push you for money before you leave the lobby. You can only buy their junk. They will withhold information so you have to buy their junk. First time getting glasses. Thai place is crap. Go to vision work in the southdale mall. They were friendly helpful. They made phone calls to get me the info in needed. Gave me all my measurements to help me buy what I needed. Way way better than clarkson.
Very good visit! Always love coming here.
Good experience.Dr. Stephanie and Michelle professional welcoming nice people.
Was trying to make am appt, and sat on the phone for almost ten minutes waiting. Nobody once even picked up the phone to say they will be right with me. So can only imagine how everything else is ran. & its 1:30 on a Monday morning.
Quick to get an appointment. Staff was very welcoming. Cute frames.
I love that you think spamming my phone for 6 months is going to make me WANT to come back to your store. Take a hint.
I had a great experience at my last visit. Friendly staff and the exam was easy.
I miss the former Oxboro Eye Clinic & all of its great people!! I've been a patient of this location for about 30 yrs. Started when I lived nearby & stayed, despite my moves around the city. Sadly, since it transitioned to Clarkson, the eye exams, service & staff knowledge has all gone downhill, and the costs increased greatly. I've experienced prescription errors & service issues, along with constant robo calls to make an appt. I picked up my yearly contact supply & asked about manufacturer rebate forms & receipts. I was told no rebates available. Google proved otherwise & I have a $50 rebate on its way. Now that I'm nearing my senior years, I'll need to find a more trustworthy provider. Bummer!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
