If you are looking for a OUTSTANDING Orthopedic Surgeon, I would recommend Dr. Braman, hands down. I was scared to have surgery done on my right arm, so scared it took me 1+ years to finally have someone look at it. After my consultation with Dr. Braman, I had no doubt I was in great hands. He explained everything to me regarding the procedure and answered ALL my questions and concerns pertaining to the surgery.
Dr. Braman is wonderful!! After he worked on my right shoulder, I was able to go back to doing the things I love to do without pain and with full range of motion. His staff is also warm, caring and helpful. Thank you!
I completely trust Doctor Braman and appreciate his attention to detail. I couldn't ask for a better surgeon!
Dr Braman identified a massive infection in my shoulder. Scheduled a surgical procedure to remove the existing implant in my shoulder. The infection was encroaching my neck spreading to my brain. Dr Braman and his surgical team removed a liter of infection. After a couple of months of treatment for the infection, Dr. Braman used a reverse shoulder implant and coordinated with infectious disease staff, leaving me with a very useable shoulder and I am infection free to this day.
I had three tears in my rotator cuff from hockey injury. As a 40-something, I worried that my shoulder wouldn't heal well. Dr. Braman was a great communicator, was confident. I felt very comfortable with him, and he answered all of my questions. The surgery was non-invasive and went as planned. Rehab went well and my shoulder is 100% - even stronger than it was before. In fact, I hit my golf irons farther now than before the injury!
After a severe motorcycle accident he repaired both shoulders...no pain or problems, he turned a bad wreck into a healing process. G.J. Jones...great talent
DO NOT let Dr. Braman do your surgery!!! He not only permanently ruined my shoulder, but I also have immense chronic pain & his error caused me to have to end my career in the medical field. He removed an excessive amount of my tendon, then sutured it in the wrong location! He insisted it was fine, but tried to get rid of me by referring me to a pain specialist. I got a second opinion & had to have the surgery re-done to try & fix his mistakes. But the damage was done. Go to Allina Orthopaedics!
Dr. Braman performed substantial shoulder surgery on me that turned out extremely well.
I love this doctor;s way. he tells it the way it is and he truly has concerns in regard to y our injury, He holds many awards and is the top doctor for shoulder surgery.
Dr. Braman is awesome! I initially saw him to get a second opinion on a rotator cuff tear of my right shoulder. He was able to see what the other doctor missed. His bedside manner is great. He's very personable and takes the time to get to know his patients. I had major organ surgery a month after my rotator cuff repair. He took the time to understand my whole health situation to come up with a recovery plan that took my other health issues into account. He recently performed a rotator cuff repair on my left shoulder, and spent many months working on alternatives to surgery when he could have simply told me surgery was the only option at the onset. I would recommend him to anyone looking for the best of the best in Minnesota. The only negative I can state is that he does like to spend time with his patients and this causes him to be late for appointments. If you see him at Tria, I suggest the earliest morning appointment time or the first after lunch.
