List of Mngi Digestive Health -Bloomington Endoscopy Center & Clinic's Reviews
Great experience with this clinic and staff, very friendly, helpful, and explained all aspects of the procedure. I was a bit nervous about the anesthesia but after such great care and kindness from the staff I felt at ease and confident that everything would turn out right. All staff members were awesome! I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone.
From scheduling and the appointment were so easy, it was easy to get it done!!
I had an endoscopy at MNGI in December and I was amazed at how during my visit everything moved like clockwork. Everyone was on the same page, they all knew what they were doing, everyone treated me very well, and every step went exactly as they said it would. It was pleasant and they all had great attitudes. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
My yelp reviewDo Not Go there! Unorganized and bad communications. My appointment for Colonoscopy was canceled at arrival to the clinic. I took two days off work for prep’ing colon then a friend took time off work to be with me per instructions. I filled out all the questioner on their website about my medical history… I had mild covid symptoms three Weeks before my appointment and was negative after 5days. I have no symptom. I have no other medical history and this is a routine colonoscopy. The manager stated they do colonoscopy 4 weeks after covid. I asked why they didn’t have that information on the online form/ questioners or on their website so people like me don’t have to go thru the process of preparation (and taking work off and have a family member also off work) to be canceled at ARRIVAL. Covid has been going on for 2yrs now and they should have their pre questioners be adjusted to satisfy their pre-procedure process. I was told by the nurse that I can talk to the anesthesiologist but instead the nurse manager came to the lobby where I was waiting and stated that they can reschedule me in a week. My job does not allow me to just leave work within a short notice. I was so disappointed and frustrated. There are so many ways they could inform their patients ahead of time...Or ask for covid test result before procedure. Unprofessional and disrespectful of my valuable time.

Kind and knowledgeable staff who treated me well from the moment I walked in the front door to the moment I left. Exceptional from start to finish!
DO NOT GO HERE! Organization is poor and communication is abysmal! when I arrived for my first appointment, they asked, "Did no one call you?" My appointment has been switched to a phone appointment because the doctor had hit a deer and totaled his car. After speaking to the doctor, it turned out it had happened the previous week, so they had time to contact me, but no one bothered to do so. I went ahead and scheduled a colonoscopy and follow up, as recommended. The first available date for a colonoscopy was over two months out. In that time, both the colonoscopy and follow appointment were switched to different providers. I did the TWO FULL DAY prep for the colonoscopy and arrived at my scheduled time. The first question they asked was "Have you had COVID in the past four weeks?" I had, about three weeks prior. The receptionist goes on to inform me that they can't do the colonoscopy then. I HAD NEVER BEEN INFORMED OF THIS POLICY. She asked when I had made the appointment and I said, "November." Her response was that this was a new policy. WHY ARE THEY NOT INFORMING PATIENTS OF NEW POLICIES?? She had me speak to the charge nurse and we had basically the same conversation. So they both knew that patients are not being informed of new policies that affect their ability to receive treatment and NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO FIX IT! I lost three days of my life to this prep and recovery for NOTHING! My husband had to take two days off of with to help with our children.

Went to the pediatric gastro in St. Paul, unfortunately our only options were them or Fairview - Fairview is the place you go to die so we avoid them like the plaque. Doctor did nothing for our 10 year old, simply said to give him Miralax. Our son was born extremely premature, was given a lot of antibiotics & steroids which ruined his gut bacteria - this "doctor" never asked about his diet, never ran any tests to see if possible dealing with a yeast overgrowth, etc. Allopathic medicine is a disgrace. We went to a functional MD who ran an OAT test & others that most allopathic doctors have never heard of. The test did confirm a yeast overgrowth & more. Our son was put on the right protocol - diet, the right supplements, etc no drug prescriptions were needed - our son's health greatly improved within a couple of months. These "doctors" are not trained in finding nor treating the root causes. They're only trained in pharma care.
Care was great, pre billing estimate was way off ! 1000.00 more . Very disappointed in the non disclosure of a anesthesia charge and very costly lab fees.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
