Very skilled, articulate, compassionate & very patient. He did a full hip replacement on my 70 year old mom after she fell & broke the neck of her femur. She fell days before she realized she had a broken hip (long story) & as a result unknowingly developed a blood clot that was sure to kill her if it wasn't for Dr Horst's excellent attention and insistence on doing a full body scan for clots (against Radiology dept. push back) and lo & behold they found a deadly clot in her leg heading towards the lungs. He prioritized the clot surgery & then successfully operated on the hip a day later.

Absolutely the best. Explained everything in relatable terms, very kind and genuinely a nice person. Hope to be able to have him fix others pieces, if needed. He is just great. Too bad he's not my neighbor!

Performed a total hip replacement for my mother with superb results. Went way above & beyond his job and took the lead to make sure a life-threatening blood clot was diagnosed and properly treated. treated. Without his diligence the clot would have never even been diagnosed. The hip surgery was excellent and the recovery was speedy. Pleasant and caring and very professional
